An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the highly motivated Development Team at Wales’ leading producing theatre, Theatr Clwyd, following our major capital redevelopment. Working closely with the Capital Campaign Director and Head of Development, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will maximise income from trusts, foundations and statutory sources to support the company’s strategic priorities.
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Development, the Trusts and Foundations Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a strategy to support the growth of income from trusts and foundations to support the organisation's revenue needs and special projects. The development team at Theatr Clwyd are responsible for all philanthropic donations to the organisation including the Music Service and William Aston Hall. They have an annual revenue target of £480,0000, commencing financial year 25/26. This will be made up of mixed income from trusts and foundations, individuals and corporates. The team comprises a Head of Development, Trusts and Foundations Manager, Development Assistant, and is supported by a Development Director with some responsibility for major Trust and Foundation fundraising (revenue plus special projects, which sit outside of the department’s core fundraising priorities).

Outline of service:
Manchester Mind and Gaddum have come together to provide a new and innovative service which will support people leave mental health hospitals and return to the community with the support they need to recover.
As a team, we will be delivering psycho-social interventions, advocacy, housing and welfare rights advice, support to young people and peer support. All underpinned by listening and ensuring people feel heard – because we know that when people are listened to, they recover. The team will be working with colleagues within the mental health, primary care, inpatient and community sectors.
Job summary:
You will work with people prior to discharge from mental health hospital and then support the person get the care they need so they can recover in the community. We want to enable people to feel connected within their communities – to services, friends and family.
This role will work with a small but intensive caseload (max 15 cases) to focus on:
• Discharge: Supporting people when they’re ready to be discharged from inpatient mental health services to get back to the community and recover.
• Prevent re-admissions: Work with people post-discharge to ensure they continue to get the support they need to stay well.
• Repatriate: when people are sent to an out of area placement (OAPs) advocate to get them back to Greater Manchester so they can recover in their community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• To provide support to people that are ready to be discharged from inpatient psychiatric care to return to the community with the services and resources they need to recover.
• To work with people post-discharge in the community to ensure they get what they need to stay well.
• To effectively and independently manage a small but intensive caseload (max 15 cases), being flexible to people’s needs and short term changes in schedule.
• To work in a person-centred, trauma informed and culturally appropriate way that enables people to effectively engage with our service
. • To use your knowledge of community care, policies, legislation and statutory services to get people the support they need to recover and stay well.
• Identify when people need referrals to secondary services and make appropriate referrals.
• Independently visit people in inpatient and community settings in Manchester and across Greater Manchester, adhering to lone working and risk management procedures.
• Occasionally visit people out of the Greater Manchester area who need to return to their community in Manchester (all travel expenses will be paid and travel time will be part of your working day).
• Build relationships with key professionals to achieve your client’s goals (e.g. inpatient staff, social care, CMHTs, community services etc...).

About the Role
This role is all about helping individuals maintain their tenancy, develop independent living skills, and achieve their personal goals. You’ll work closely with service users to identify challenges and provide tailored support.

Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Tim Jenner. Tim is our Global Head of Digital, having joined ClientEarth's London office in 2020.
Over 17 years, Tim has worked as an international charity fundraiser and communications professional, most recently with the International Rescue Committee. In that time, Tim has focused on a range of supporter engagement channels including social media, email marketing, direct response, donor stewardship, SMS, and supporter-led events. Tim holds a professional digital marketing diploma with the Institute of Direct Marketing.
Main Duties
- Design engaging, professional visuals for digital and print formats, infographics, social media content, including reports, event materials, and fundraising assets including report and proposal templates
- Plan, film, and edit high-quality video content for multiple platforms including social media, websites, donor engagement and events
- Develop creative concepts for public facing campaigns, bringing complex environmental topics to life through accessible and compelling visuals
Role requirements
- Proven experience as a graphic designer and/or videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design and video projects.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging visuals and videos.
