We are working in partnership with Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Director of Income Generation.

An exciting opportunity has risen for a driven and experienced fundraiser. The postholder will be responsible for the leadership and development of the fundraising team, fostering a high-performing and motivated environment. Evaluating current fundraising initiatives to ensure an effective balance between long term activities and driving immediate income, analysing income streams to manage performance, growth and ROI and scoping opportunities to capitalise on existing income streams and develop actionable plans to diverse and grow fundraised income will be strong focus of this role. The Director will also take personal responsibility for major donors and cultivating and negotiating high value and/or high-profile fundraising partnerships. 

This role is offered on an interim basis due to a desired quick start date, but with the option to become permanent.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven fundraising experience and a sound working knowledge of all main fundraising methods and streams.
• Track record of delivery at strategic and operational business level, and able to translate strategic vision into clear direction for the organisation and line reports.
• A track record of managing teams, both salaried and volunteers, to deliver fundraising targets, and with a proven ability to recruit, train and monitor performance. 
• Experience of budget creation and management.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade; an innovative, ambitious and proactive leadership style, with the ability to inspire others to maximise their potential, will be essential.

As a Resilience Worker – Children Looked After (CLA), you’ll be working within an Integrated, Whole Family Recovery Service, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside our partners in Childrens Services. Advocacy Caseworker (full-time)

You’ll be assigned a case-load of clients who you will advocate for in different kinds of support they need.

The Centre is open between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Your normal working hours will be 36 hours per week i.e. 5 days per week.

You’ll work with:

• people living with mental or physical health conditions or impairments
• migrants and refugees
• older adults
• people experiencing digital exclusion

You will keep strict professional boundaries with the client, whilst sympathising with what the client has experienced in their life.

The role

• Carry out needs assessments and draw up brief plans for each client to enable them to access services that will improve their wellbeing.

• Support clients in actioning these plans - particularly in accessing advice or services, working alongside MGWT colleagues to provide further support, and ensuring successful referral from partner organisations where relevant.

• Facilitate better access to targeted support services through advocacy - and when necessary, house calls to isolated clients.

• Ensure client support provided is in line with MGWT policies and procedures -in particular, MGWT Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.

Person specification

• An understanding of the need to work in an accessible and diverse way when working with those that experience barriers  in accessing support and services

• A good understanding of where and why these barriers exist, and how we should design our services to ensure they meet the needs and requests of our communities. Knowledge of a second language would be an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good working relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, and ability to work with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience.

• Ability to work independently using own initiative whilst remaining accountable to line management.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Multi-Skilled Engineer in our Facilities team at St Joseph’s Hospice. We are looking for someone who has experience in plumbing, mechanical and electrical working in a palliative care/clinical environment.

The role will provide support to the team and carry out repairs to mechanical and plumbing services and equipment, e.g. replacement of filters in ventilation systems, check tensions of drive belts, record details of works, materials and time on a docket or our helpdesk system. The role will also support with programmed planned maintenance works to mechanical and plumbing services such as checking temperature of water taps and outlets, descaling showerheads, following prescribed instructions to defined standards, record actions and/or findings using a formal written report system and provide information to the Head of Facilities on replacement parts and spares to enable orders to be raised.

About you

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Either BTEC National Certificate (HNC Electronic Engineering). Or Completion of at least 4yr apprenticeship of Practical and Theoretical Training as an Electronic Technician or equivalent
• Good knowledge of plumbing materials sufficient to be able to maintain and discuss the maintenance needs of water systems i.e. pump and pipe sizes and their uses
• Good knowledge on health and Safety risk assessment and relevant Health and Safety legislation.

To be successful as Specialist Housing IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

About Woman's Trust

Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. About the role

As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022 - 2027 strategy. The Finance Manager is at the heart of Woman’s Trust; you will play an essential role and have oversight of not just the finance team – you will have direct exposure to CEO/Board Members and decision-making for the future of the organisation.

We are looking for a highly motived Temporary Finance Manager with demonstrable experience working in a similar senior level role. You’ll be a fully or part qualified accountant e.g. CIMA/ACA/ACCA/Cipfa, with a thorough understanding of charity accounting.

Job Description

You'll be an experienced qualified High Intensity Therapist with BABCP accreditation who likes working as part of a supportive team to help clients who struggle with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression.

You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of Mind and Body Practitioners and CBT Therapists. Supervision will be provided on both an individual and group basis. You will be expected to support the clinical governance of the Mind and Body service.

Interviews are due to take place around 19th May 2025.

Essential Skills

• Have a Post Graduate Diploma in an NHS Talking Therapies Course or a recorded/registered qualification in one of the following - nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy – plus further post-graduate qualification training in CBT along with significant experience working as a practitioner
• Have accreditation with BABCP 
• Have demonstrable experience working in mental health and young person services
• Have demonstrable experience with routine outcome monitoring
• Use clinical supervision and personal development positively and effectively
• Know child protection issues and other relevant legislation
• Be able to work within a team and foster good working relationships
• Have advanced communication skills

You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the North London.

Spectra CIC delivers peer to peer counselling services across London. The post holder will coordinate Spectra’s LGBTQ+ Youth Counselling Service. This will include the delivery of counselling sessions, client allocations, service development and waiting list management. In addition to liaison with members of the counselling team.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.  We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individual to join the team in delivering a comprehensive Stroke Recovery Service across the region.

Position: S11266 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (travel will include team meetings or other work-related meetings).

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Salary: Circa £21,948 per annum (FTE circa £27,435 per annum)

Contract: Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

The Role

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their carers.

• Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified.

• Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan.

• Providing regular reviews to support people in establishing and achieving their own personal goals. 

• Completing 6 month Post Stroke Reviews.

About You

You will have experience and have a proven record:

• In a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities.

• Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions. 

• Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs.

• Have the ability to use basic Microsoft system.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role
