About the Role:
This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. The position also provides value to our partners and will ensure our collaborations with businesses, foundations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations are sponsored, supported, and sustainable.
We will be looking for someone who can offer more to really get themselves stuck into Urban Synergy to help grow the company and develop the role into their own.
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Corporate partners within FTSE 250.
Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance financial support and resources for Urban Synergy programmes.
Develop tailored partnership packages that align with the philanthropic priorities and interests of our Corporate partners.
Prepare compelling and professionally written proposals and presentations to potential corporate partners. Ensure they are aligned with the interests of potential partners.
Effectively communicate the impact and benefits of partnerships to prospective sponsors.
Lead negotiations and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Urban Synergy's values and goals.
Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Collaborate with programme managers to ensure seamless integration of corporate partnerships into Urban Synergy's initiatives.
Provide regular updates to the leadership team on partnership progress and outcomes.
Work closely with the finance team to manage and report on the financial aspects of corporate partnerships.
Ensure budgetary alignment with partnership goals and objectives.
Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector.
Bachelors’ Degree in Business, management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Works collaboratively within a team and also work independently
Comes with ideas and suggestions on how to develop and nurture our partnerships.
Self-starter, who is results-oriented with a track record of achieving fundraising targets.

We're looking for a Virtual Fundraising Officer with strong project management skills, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for innovation to join the Virtual Fundraising Team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, delivering, and growing our portfolio of virtual fundraising events, engaging thousands of supporters each year. Context and Background
We are recruiting a Senior Policy Research Officer to develop and deliver our early years and health policy work to deliver real change and reform in the best interests of children.
The post holder will work in the UK/England part of the Policy and Public Affairs Team, focussed on influencing the Westminster Government. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including policy research, policy development and public affairs. This is a great opportunity to drive policy work in an exciting policy area, by building a strong evidence base and contributing to effective influencing strategies.
Job purpose
The Senior Policy Research Officer will be responsible for undertaking policy research to achieve the NSPCC's strategic goals, using their skills and experience to strengthen the NSPCC's impact on public policy relating to early years and health. Main duties and responsibilities
Policy development:
- Develop and maintain a high level of expertise on policy priority areas, with lead responsibility for early years and health policy.
- Scope, develop and refine NSPCC policies on priority policy issues, putting forward the economic case for change where possible.
Policy research:
- Contribute to the delivery of our research activity, working with teams across the NSPCC to assess policy andevidence needs, then design and undertake impactful research projects to address these.
- Manage policy research projects from development and commissioning stage through to completion, providing direction and supervision to ensure the highest standards of delivery.
- Analyse a wide range of primary and secondary sources of evidence (such as official data sets and statistics, policy documents, academic literature, economic analyses, FOls and survey data) to develop innovative and evidence-based policy solutions to complex problems.
Public affairs:

Carers’ Hub works to improve carers’ lives in Lambeth through quality services and community engagement. We are an independent local charity, who work with carers aged five upwards. The Donation Processing Team Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to the donation processing function within the NSPCC. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans for the team and leading projects to evolve and develop donation processing practices in line with Income Generation Directorates strategic direction.
Additionally, this role involves close collaboration with the finance and fundraising teams to ensure seamless donation processing and accurate financial reporting. Job purpose
To oversee the processing of all donations to NSPCC, as well as take the lead on Gift Aid for the organisation and the operational management of our third-party response handling and fulfilment agency.

About the role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the team, working 20 hours per week. The requirements are that the agreed working pattern must include working on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Our work is rewarding but also complex and demanding; you will need to be resourceful and resilient. You will work closely with our supportive Young Lives vs Cancer team, an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and with services in the community.
Young lives vs Cancer is open to and in support of flexible working. We currently use a hybrid working model. This role falls under the hybrid - variable category. This role is part home, part site based (your contractual base will be both Home and Nottingham City Hospital). You will have the opportunity to work remotely / from home within the parameters of our hybrid working arrangements.
