What We’re Looking For:
-Advanced knowledge and experience with SQL, Power BI, and Python to deliver impactful reporting and analysis (DAX to build dynamic reports in Power BI including semantic model design)
-Expertise in using data to influence fundraising and marketing strategies in a non-profit or similar environment.
-Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
-A proactive and collaborative mindset
-Strong statistical knowledge and experience developing model-based analyses (regression, survival, clustering etc)
The successful candidate will have strong statistical knowledge and experience developing model-based analyses (regression, survival, clustering etc), playing a crucial role in developing and maintaining a suite of supporter data reports, analysis and models to help build our understanding of ActionAid’s supporters and fundraising performance, and to use this insight to influence, improve and challenge fundraising and supporter engagement strategies.

You will be responsible for coordinating healthcare services for our male residents undergoing drug and alcohol treatment, including medication management, accessing GP and specialist services, and promoting overall wellbeing. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Youth Engagement worker, to join our Somewhere For Us Service team. The role of the service is to ensure that children and young people feel supported on their grief journey. The service is co-designed with our Youth Advisory Group. The support is provided through a range of group and 1-1 supports, including Understanding Your Child’s Bereavement online sessions for parents, group support and activities for children and young people and 1-1 support, grief ally/buddy etc.
Workshops are delivered in the community to individuals and groups who work with children and young people, to help increase their skills and knowledge on how to effectively support children and young people going through a bereavement.
The Somewhere For Us Service supports bereaved children and young people aged 8 – 25. It is funded to June 2027, through the National Lottery Community Fund Empowering Young People funding stream.
There are 2 posts, each for 32 hours per week, one based in our Foyle office and one in Belfast office. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of bereavement support to children, young people, families and communities across the Western and Northern Trust Areas (Foyle), Belfast, Southern and South Eastern Trust Areas (Belfast) and wider NI, if required. Ability to travel independently across NI to fulfil the role is essential.
You will receive training in bereavement support and have access to high quality CPD.

As a War Pension & Compensation Adviser, you will provide crucial support to beneficiaries by guiding them through their appeal process and representing them before the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation First Tier Tribunal. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing Cases for Tribunal: Thoroughly reviewing case files to ensure all necessary information is included, understanding beneficiaries' reasons for appeal, and advocating for the importance of RBL's support in their cases.
- Advising Beneficiaries: Conducting advice sessions prior to hearings to summarise findings, outline what to expect at the tribunal, and explain the next steps in the appeal process.
- Presenting Cases: Drafting clear, persuasive arguments on behalf of beneficiaries and presenting a cohesive case before the Tribunal.
- Managing Caseloads: Overseeing a portfolio of beneficiaries, progressing cases to listing status, and identifying any additional needs, with referrals to other RBL teams as needed.
The role is primarily homebased with will have regular travel around the North UK for internal meetings and visiting beneficiaries, therefore you will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area. (Travel expenses covered)
There will also be occasional travel nationally to attend training / meetings.

The Caseworker (Health Projects) role involves working across our Patient Welfare Advice Service (PWAS), which takes referrals from GPs and social prescribers, and our Macmillan Benefits Advice Service, which supports people affected by cancer. Our caseworkers help people navigate complex problems and find practical solutions. They have good technical knowledge of the social welfare issues that matter most to our clients and are responsible for delivering advice with a moderate level of supervision. They also have responsibility for managing incoming referrals and maintaining positive relationships with project partners. This is an advice role that involve providing casework support and could full-time role or two part time roles, which we’re happy to discuss following interviews.
If you don’t meet all the requirements of the person specification, we’ll consider offering this role at a lower salary range (Adviser rather than Caseworker), as it could be a could development opportunity for someone who wants to progress into a caseworker role.

The role
As an Outreach and Engagement Practitioner you will help individuals and families to build confidence and access the support available from our services.
One of the key priorities of Gamcare South East is to reach out to individuals, families, and communities to make it easier to talk about gambling and gambling related harms. This is done by working across the region to engage with underserved communities to ensure everyone can access information and support.
You will be responsible for building effective working partnerships with professional services through the delivery of presentations, networking and creating new referral pathways. Your role will be integral in making the service accessible.
To support this, your responsibilities will include:
- Participation in service promotion, networking activities and events to support visibility and ongoing development of the service
- Development and maintenance of relationships with local services and communities, providing information to support the identification of gambling harms and pathways into the service
- Development of collaborative working relationships with external agencies, professionals and groups, and delivering presentations on gambling harms and how to support people to access the service
- Providing advice to people affected by gambling harms
To meet the needs of the service the role might include some evenings and occasional weekends.
About you

Key aspects of the role
· Provide day to day support and line management to the management team
· Develop the management team ensuring consistency in staffing across community & accommodation

Delivering Quality Services
· Work with the quality lead and the management team to review and analyse service level data, identifying good practice and areas for improvement. Produce high quality reports for commissioners, SLT and the Board of Trustees.
· Support the continuous development of staff and managers and celebrate success.
· Promote and embed a culture of equality, diversity & inclusion across all aspects of employment and service delivery.
· Work as part of Pdap senior leadership team to ensure services are delivered to a high standard and adequately resourced.
· Ensure Managers adhere to agreed budgets related to their service.
· Assist in setting annual budgets for Pdap, ensuring that all resources, assets, and monies are always properly accounted for.
· Participate in the recruitment, selection, and deployment of the staff team and ensure that Pdap values are integral to this process.
· Support the management team to develop their teams including development of performance improvement plans where required.
· To oversee Pdap case management systems ensuring they are fit for purpose.
· Embed safeguarding policies and procedures throughout service delivery ensuring all staff are confident in managing safeguarding concerns.

· Keep up to date with new developments, research and innovation incorporating these into service provision.
Working in Partnership
· To promote Pdap ethos and values across the organisation and in external partnerships.
· To liaise with other agencies on behalf of Pdap and represent the wider complexities of those experiencing domestic abuse.
· To represent Pdap at a strategic level including attendance at meetings, attending advisory groups with a view to influencing how stakeholders improve their response to domestic abuse.
· To develop and maintain good positive working relationships and referral pathways with relevant agencies and professionals in relation to domestic abuse services.
· Alongside the management team deliver training, presentations and awareness raising to external partners & community audiences.

· Ensure that the views of Pdap’s clients, those with lived experience of domestic abuse and stakeholders are at the core of all our work and to take full account of these in the development of new services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hub Administrative Assistant to work alongside our Hub Team Administrator for a fixed-term, from January 2025 until June 2025. This role will support our Community Work Manager with the administration necessary to deliver our community work. This currently includes two food pantry sessions a week, and a combined pop-up pantry and Living Room (warm space) session each week.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:
· To process applications to hub projects and manage communication with project members.
· To co-ordinate volunteer communications.
· To create and manage volunteer rotas.
· To ensure team leaders have all relevant information for each session.
· To ensure data is populated and managed accurately, and according to GDPR requirements.
The successful post holder must have:
· Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
· Proven people skills and experience in relation to community work or the charity sector.
· Able to liaise with staff and volunteers from external organisations at all levels.

Child Bereavement UK is delighted to have been awarded a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund and we are now starting the process of establishing a new Bereavement Support Service in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Child Bereavement UK as we look to recruit a full time Bereavement Support Practitioner to join the new service in Birmingham that will provide bereavement support to individuals, couples, families and in group settings. The post holder will support the Bereavement Support Service Lead in the provision and evaluation of a service that ensures families and professionals can access high quality bereavement support in situations where a baby or child of any age has died, or where children or young people up to the age of 25 are bereaved.
In this role you will:
• Work with the Bereavement Support Service Lead in providing and evaluating the service to support parents bereaved of a baby or child, of any age or children and young people up to the age of 25 bereaved of anybody important to them.
• To support the Bereavement Support Service Lead in developing and establishing Child Bereavement UK’s service as a source of advice and support for families and professionals across the region.
• To manage a caseload and provide a programme of individual and couple sessions and to develop and provide facilitated Groups for Parents bereaved of a baby or child.
• To contribute to the provision of a programme of individual and family support sessions, Groups for Families, Groups for Young People and school liaison.
