Job Purpose:

The Business Development officer, focusing on partnerships will build and nurture strategic relationships with community stakeholders, businesses, and organisations that can support Zetetick’s growth. This role focuses on creating partnerships that offer financial, community and brand value, increasing the organisation's footprint and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development - Identify and build partnerships with local businesses, charities, service providers, and government bodies that align with the organization’s mission and can offer mutual benefits.
  • Revenue Generation - Explore community partnership opportunities that can lead to additional funding streams, including sponsorships, in-kind donations, or collaborative grants.
  • Community Outreach - Develop and implement strategies for engaging the local community, especially the property sector and local authority teams, raising awareness of the organization's services, and increasing its visibility.
  • Volunteer Recruitment and Management - Recruit and manage a network of volunteers for events and programs, maximizing community involvement and support.
  • Collaboration is key - Work closely with the fundraising manager to coordinate community-based fundraising events and initiatives.
  • Networking and Advocacy - Represent the organization at community events, forums, and meetings, advocating for its mission and identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
  • Reporting and Analytics - Provide regular reports on partnership outcomes, community engagement efforts, and volunteer contributions.
  • Preparedness to commit to ad hoc tasks across the organisation on occasion. Everyone at Zetetick is expected to conduct Homeliness visits and contribute to work at times that is not exclusive to their job description.
