International Finance Manager, an excellent opportunity to join an International Welfare Charity, based in the UK.

As the International Finance Manager, working in collaboration with the Director of Finance, you will manage the finance functions and oversee the financial management of the charity and its international subsidiary. Responsible for providing a financial and management accounting oversight role for the subsidiary partner, along with managing the relationship with outsourced bookkeepers, banks, and other service providers.
In collaboration with the Director of Finance, you will hold specific financial management responsibilities which include:
- The implementation and ongoing oversight of financial policies, practices, processes and systems
- The production of the budget and quarterly management accounts.
- The management of the external audit and production of consolidated year end statutory accounts.
- Maintain the relationship with banks, HMRC and outsourced financial services providers.

To be successful in this International Finance Manager role, you will have prior experience and knowledge of;
- Working in a Finance Management or Management Accountant role, within an international charity and knowledge of relevant charity accounting standards and regulations.
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CA qualified
- Experience of leading across the finance function is key (or at least leading on multiple aspects of the finance function)
- Experience of leading/managing the external audit process, as well as a practical experience of annual accounts preparation, reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience of restricted fund project accounting and donor reporting.
- Experience of foreign currency transactions
- Working in a multicultural setting or working as part of an international team across different timezones.
- Knowledge and experience of control systems and processes.

You will be the principal provider of support for these residents in the ISS and will also work alongside Assistant Support Workers. Additionally, you will work closely with residents to create tailored support plans that meet their specific needs and enable them.
Due to the nature of the role, you will have experience in building relationships and supporting vulnerable, disadvantaged, or excluded client groups, as well as dealing with challenging behaviours within a similar setting to the homelessness sector. You will also be able to demonstrate a level of experience and understand the range of approaches appropriate to working with challenging behaviour including current drug /or alcohol use, antisocial behaviour, offending, substance misuse and complex needs, as well as experience of working with clients through a trauma-informed approach and understand statutory compliances and standards such health and safety, equal opportunities and data protection. - Let properties in line with the organisations letting policy and procedure.
- Assess and process possible admissions to the accommodation and determine acceptance. In cases where information is present to indicate that persons should not be admitted, record the details accurately.
- Assess a prospective new tenant and advise them on the Assured Short-hold Tenancy agreement, tenant's handbook and other relevant Policies and Procedures.
- Record and undertake pre-admission inspections of properties and voids when and where appropriate.

A fantastic Foundation working to tackle child poverty, deforestation and domestic abuse are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Child Poverty.
Salary: Circa £50,000
Location: Central London (fully office based)
The Project Manager - Child Poverty will oversee projects aimed at reducing child poverty, particularly focusing on initiatives that tackle child hunger and provide necessary support services. This role involves managing partnerships with charities, planning and executing support initiatives, and engaging with community stakeholders to drive impactful change.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing projects addressing child poverty and hunger; developing project plans, timelines, and budgets and monitoring project progress.
- Planning, coordinating, and implementing initiatives to alleviate child hunger and provide support to children in need.
- Working closely with charities, schools, and community organisations to ensure effective delivery of support services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with charitable organisations, community groups, and other stakeholders.
- Engaging with local communities to understand needs and tailor support initiatives accordingly.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in social programs or child welfare. Experience working with charities and managing community-based projects is key, as is a knowledge of child poverty issues and support systems in the UK. You must also have the ability to travel within the UK as required.

Scope:
To grow the charity’s fundraising ambitions and meet annual and long-term fundraising targets

Duties:
Lead on the growing relationship portfolio of Funders and Benefactors
Act as the first point of contact for the organisations Funders and Benefactors
Contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the charity Structure/Governance in line with Trustee Meetings.
Contribute to the annual planning and reporting process, providing regular updates of progress against objectives
Lead, attend and assist with events and meetings with support as appropriate
Act as an Ambassador for the organisation.
Help develop mid-long term Funding Strategy that provides economic sustainability for the Charity for the next 5 years
Build strong relationships with a portfolio of new prospects and pipelines.

We are thrilled to be working with Southampton Hospitals Charity who are looking for an ambitious Director of Fundraising and Marketing to lead and inspire a team of 13 who are responsible for raising awareness and generating £4m each year.
As Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will provide exceptional leadership and vision to develop and grow the charity’s profile and income streams. While overseeing all aspects of fundraising, you will inspire and support the marcomms team to build on brand awareness and increase community engagement. The charity already have a strong high-value function so this role will focus on developing the public fundraising strategy.
At an exciting time for Southampton Hospitals Charity as they have recently become an independent charity, have an new art trail this year and an ambitious team.
To be an excellent Director of Fundraising and Marketing you will need:
- Exceptional planning and budget management experience
- Ability to influence and persuade internally
- Experience leading fundraising teams, ideally with a public or mass fundraising background
- Outstanding communication skills and ideally a some marketing and communications experience
Salary: £70,000-£75,000
Contract: Full time (part-time considered) - FTC 12 months
