Job description

Working within the Campaigns and Policy department, the Offshore Industries Coordinator is on the frontline of WDC’s efforts to safeguard the world’s ocean to ensure whales and dolphins are protected from harmful offshore industries. In this crucial role, you will be supporting the delivery of efforts aimed at changing business practices and government policies so that cetaceans are fully protected from anthropogenic activities. For example, vessel strikes from shipping and boat races, noise caused by offshore developments and ships, and deep sea mining. You need to have experience in identifying opportunities to successfully influence and persuade at a political and industry level and have endless energy to engage with a range of stakeholders positively and proactively.
