We're looking for a passionate Marketing & Fundraising Executive to join our charity team and spearhead innovative strategies that will transform the lives of street dogs in Thailand.

Your role will be pivotal in representing and communicating everything Jai to Ministry of Sound Group partners, managing communications with our members, event partners, and other stakeholders, and keeping our website and blog vibrant and upto-date.

You will be developing marketing and fundraising strategies that inspire donors.

You'll support our Thai agency on public campaigns and the Regular Giving initiative, driving legacy programs that leave a lasting impact.

You will engage and retain one-off and regular donors through effective acquisition and stewardship, increasing donations and cultivating major donor relationships.

You'll oversee newsletters, website updates, and blog management and lead the Sponsor A Dog initiative, providing quarterly updates that will warm donors' hearts.

You will work to expand Jai’s presence on TikTok, YouTube, and other sites, leveraging your expertise in Google Ads and paid search. You will also maximize Jai’s corporate exposure through strategic LinkedIn postings.

Operationally, you'll develop and manage the CRM database, possess a solid understanding of WordPress and website SEO. Experience with Meta Business Manager and ad management would be ideal.

You will collaborate with The Ministry Marketing Manager on member communications and updates, supporting at events with enthusiasm and dedication.

Location: London, in office 3 days per week with occasional travel nationally - 2 days can be WfH

We are now looking to expand our Fundraising and Devlopment team in this newly created role. You will have relevant experience likely to have been gained over 1 to 3 years working in fundraising, supporter engagement, or a similar role within a charity or not-for-profit organisation. You must be confident using CRM systems such as Donorfy or similar, and in writing donor communications. Our team is passionate about the work we do and it is crucial that you have a genuine interest in the role fundraising plays in the charity sector as well as a resonance with our cause.

About the role

· Assist the Fundraising department in planning and delivering national and large-scale fundraising activities.

· Assist the Individual Giving Manager in the coordination and delivery of fundraising campaigns and initiatives including our annual Christmas Appeal, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently.

· Support the delivery of digital fundraising activities in line with the Fundraising Strategic Framework.

· Support the administration of the individual giving fundraising programme in collaboration with the wider team.

· Assist the Head of High Value and Individual Giving Manager to administer donor support communications.

· Ensure all donors are thanked in a timely manner via e-mail and letters and accurately recorded on our CRM.

· Maintain and update supporter and donor records within the CRM database ensuring they are accurate.

· Support the refinement of systems and processes to enhance donor experience.

· Serve as the first point of contact for Community Fundraising, including emailing and posting fundraising packs and providing fundraising guidance and advice.

· Maintain and develop our low to mid-level Trust and Foundation income, delivering applications and reporting using our Case for Support.

· Respond to general enquiries received over the phone and through the fundraising and general enquires inboxes.

· Liaise closely with colleagues across the charity to support the development of fundraising collateral and materials for fundraising activities.

Thames Chase Community Forest was established in 1990 and covers an area of 98 square miles on the edge of east London and south-west Essex. Thames Chase Trust welcomes around 65,000 visitors per year to the Forest Centre complex. The architecturally acclaimed Visitor Centre is the information hub for the entire Community Forest and includes a cafe, shop, and public toilets. The complex also includes a 17th century barn, original stable block, refurbished Education Room, and farm cottages.

Our dedicated and friendly Forest Centre team seeks to provide the best possible visitor experience and to continue to develop and grow the complex. You will manage volunteers and five members of staff focussed on the Forest Centre complex. The staff team includes four Forest Centre Assistants and one Forest Centre Caretaker. Role Description - What will you do?

People

You will bring this spectacular place closer to the hearts of visitors, our local communities and our many partners and you will lead on facilities, retail, catering (outsourced), visitor experience, membership, and volunteer teams. 

You will show initiative in developing the visitor experience through events, guiding, informing, and reinforcing the Thames Chase Plan, brand and values.

You will need to be able to promote the natural and cultural heritage of landscapes.

You’ll lead on the development, writing and coordination of compelling funding bids, working closely with teams across the organisation to shape projects that are fundable, impactful, and aligned with our strategic goals. From identifying new opportunities to building strong relationships with key funders, you’ll be instrumental in helping us grow our income and increase our impact for nature.

Job Description – Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibility 1: Income generation

1. Achieve an agreed annual high value grant income target to support the Trust’s strategy and business plan.
2. Write and co-ordinate high-quality high value grant applications ensuring deadlines are met and all internal contributors are clear as to their role.
3. Work with the fundraising team leads and head of fundraising to strategically plan funding needs for approved projects.
4. Ensure that match funding needs resulting from grant applications are identified, communicated early and integrated into wider fundraising planning.
5. Ensure all applications (whether successful or not) are recorded on the Trust database.
6. Use grant applications to support BAU income generation where appropriate/possible.
7. Line manage the Grants Officer.

Responsibility 2: Project Development

1. Support cross organisational bids and project development, working with colleagues and partners to develop new project concepts and support the writing of applications and reports.
2. Develop detailed and accurate budgets for projects and funding applications, and which support contributions of Core funding and aligning with the Trust’s financial processes and reporting.
3. Work with the Head of Fundraising to assess and write updates on project funding milestones and income pipelines for the Programme Management board (PMB)
4. Maintain an up-to-date overview of project funding (current and planned) and track funding opportunities and match with the Trust’s project priorities.
5. Work with fundraising managers within the team to create strategic, cross income stream, funding plans to help support organisational projects.

Responsibility 3: Develop Relationships with Grant Giving Bodies

1. Research and identify new grant giving bodies that could help support projects and core work .
2. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with potential and existing major funders to deepen their involvement with and support for the Trust, in co-ordination with the Grants Officer.
3. Keep abreast of grant fundraising trends in the UK conservation and fundraising sector and follow new funding developments such as innovative finance mechanisms that can be applied to the Trust’s work, including through networking and researching funding opportunities.

I am excited to be working with an amazing charity in search of a Finance Administrator on a 6-month FTC. Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking to make a difference in a supportive, mission-led organisation?
This is an immediate start, full time, London based hybrid role (2 – 3-days per week in office). We’re seeking a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to help ensure the smooth running of key financial processes. From processing invoices to assisting with system upgrades, your work will directly support the accuracy and efficiency of our finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•  Maintain accurate records of financial transactions across ledgers and systems
•  Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliations
•  Assist with sales invoicing and credit control
•  Support rent reconciliations and liaise with stakeholders
•  Prepare and initiate authorised payments in line with policy
•  Contribute to audit preparation and annual accounts
•  Help implement and improve procedures during our finance system migration
•  Respond professionally to finance queries from both internal and external contacts
•  Keep digital finance files organised and audit-ready
About You:
•  Previous experience in a finance support role (charity/not-for-profit sector experience a plus)
•  Confident using financial systems (e.g. Sage, iPlicit) and advanced Excel skills
•  Excellent accuracy, time management, and communication skills
•  Strong understanding of financial procedures and VAT principles
•  A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative approach
•  Comfortable learning new systems and driving continuous improvement
Desirable:
•  AAT qualification
•  Knowledge of VAT accounting within the charity sector
•  Experience supporting finance system transitions (bonus if familiar with iPlicit)

 Job Title: Governance Officer

 Salary: £36,260.00 Inclusive of OLW and Market Supplement of £2,784 Band E level 3

 Location:   Gilwell Park (Hybrid), Chingford, London. Yes with Tuesday/ Wednesday as office days

 Contract Type: Permanent

 Working Hours: 35 hours per week

The Governance Team manages the effective operation of The Scout Association’s Board of Trustees and its sub-Committees. Our Governance Officers have a key role in the management of these and the production of the documentation required to facilitate each meeting.

We are looking for a highly organised and competent individual who has good experience of minute taking at Board and Committee level, and who is keen to broaden their knowledge in the third sector and in the company secretarial profession. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and confidence and sensitivity to manage strategic level information in a professional manner.

Time management will be key in ensuring you are fully prepared for the committee cycle which includes agenda preparation, in consultation with the Chair and key staff support, collation and distribution of papers, taking minutes at the meetings and sharing agreed actions with Committee members.

You’ll be expected to provide ongoing support to the Chair of the Board, including diary management, and support to our trustees, including ad hoc enquiries, inductions, arranging appraisals and booking accommodation.

As a volunteer led organisation, The Scout Association holds Board meetings at weekends and Committee meetings during normal office hours (between 9am and 5pm) as well as some in the evening and at weekends. Reasonable notice will be given when required to attend these meetings.

Governing Documents and Events

The Governance Team also manage the Association’s Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR) document which needs careful scrutiny and annual updates in line with changes to legislation and operationally within the movement.

Working with the Governance Manager, the Governance Officer is responsible for providing statistical reports on a quarterly basis for the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Company Secretary and Governance Manager with effective management of the Committees serviced by the Governance Team. This includes being aware of agenda items prior to each meeting to mitigate any potential issues that may arise. 
• Taking the minutes of agreed Committee and Board meetings and producing a set of minutes for approval within agreed time period.

Skills and abilities:

• Proven competence in this type of role
• Experience of working with trustees and volunteers
• Excellent minute taking skills
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels in the organisation
