Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2025. Part-time (14 hours per week)
Immediate start preferred.
UK Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face in the London office. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.
Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per year pro rata with excellent benefits.

About the Team
The Brand Team works in partnership with colleagues in the UK and offices around the world providing advice and expertise on developing communications that build brand equity. The team develops and protects our brand identity and crucially, drives greater awareness of WaterAid and the work we do.
Excitingly, in January 2025 we launched our refreshed brand identity, to support our ambitious Global Strategy (2022-32). We are now in the vital roll-out phase of the refreshed brand. So, there are lots of exciting opportunities to get stuck in.
About the Role
As Brand Officer you will champion and support our global brand. You will provide administration support to the Brand Team, and work with the Brand Manager to embed our newly refreshed brand across internal teams and external suppliers. Making sure that all activities reflect who we are and what we do.
You’ll also:
- Provide administrative support for the Brand Team including: managing brand inbox enquiries, organising team meetings and liaising with internal clients.
- Support the roll out of our refreshed brand internally. Includes updating our ‘how to’ one-pagers working with the Editorial Content Manager and updating our key branded merchandise working with our in-house Designer.
- Support the Brand Manager to protect and promote WaterAid’s brand, advising colleagues on brand team processes and applying the brand across a variety of communications, artwork, activities and audiences.
- Support the development and promotion of the brand library on the intranet. Includes uploading new brand assets and suggesting useability improvements, working with our Intranet Manager and the Brand Manager.
- Provide administrative support – liaising with external suppliers, scheduling brand training and other tasks as may be required.
Requirements
About You:
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Proven brand, content or communications administrative experience.
- Experience using brand guidelines.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders across multiple disciplines. Able to clearly communicate and build relationships.
- Able to promote brand consistency and inspire staff to be enthusiastic brand ambassadors.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible.
- A thorough approach to tasks with good attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Working style that reflects WaterAid’s values of Respect, Accountability, Courage, Collaboration, Integrity and Innovation.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

Experience managing a team inbox or function inbox.

Experience managing an internal intranet resource hub.
