As Partnerships Manager, you will drive new partnership opportunities and develop long-standing partnerships for the organisation.
With experience in charitable corporate partnerships, you will use your creativity and innovative skills to develop and deliver sector-leading partnerships. About You
You will have experience of:
- Working with charity partners across a range of business sectors.
- Working with partners to generate £25k+ in charitable funding, ideally spanning different types of activities and fundraising mechanisms/components.
- Creative and strategic thinking, with passionate for demonstrating how the business community can change the landscape of the UK’s mental health.
- Budgeting processes and tracking and forecasting income and expenditure for partners and your pipeline.
You will occasionally travel the country and work flexibly to meet the requirements of the job role (e.g. occasional evenings and weekends where event attendance is required).
You may also have:
- Knowledge of the mental health / illness sector.
- Sound understanding of relevant fundraising regulations and GDPR.
- Previous experience of working with Salesforce or other fundraising databases.

The Role
In this role, no day is the same. You will be involved in various exciting projects and campaigns to mark upcoming milestones. The postholder is responsible for the strategic leadership, development and management of all fundraising and commercial activity for Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). The key areas of focus will be:

About the role:
The Advance Prison Advocate will support women on remand and those unsentenced within the prison setting, providing pre-release support; focused on Accommodation, Finance, debt & benefits, Family & significant others and Social inclusion.
The Prison Advocate will develop a referral pathway with the Offender Management team within the prison, for women to access the service and will work in partnership with the existing service providers operating within the prison. You will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling you to support them to address their needs and any risks in relation to the interventions identified above including providing ‘through the gate support’. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women in custody.
You will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with women in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally working with prisoners and/or their families.
You will build strong relationships with the Pre Release teams to ensure clients are able to maintain or access suitable accommodation, finance, benefits and debt, family and social inclusion support including negotiating terms on behalf of the women. Ensure that interventions are responsive to and meet the needs of women from diverse and minoritised backgrounds. This, together with referrals to wider partner organisations in the community, will ensure additional support needs are addressed post-release and continuity of support exists
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Advance Prison Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
Knowledge and experience of the criminal justice system obtained through academic study, experience of working in the criminal justice system (or closely associated social system).
The ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

About this vital role
Our Pantry project will support and engage with individuals and families providing them with positive empowering support to address issues such as wellbeing, housing, debt, and employment. People using the Pantry pay a weekly subscription and, in return, are able to access an abundance of affordable, nutritious food and added support.
The Pantry Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day running of the Pantry, including carrying out and complying with all health and safety procedures and policies, ensuring stock is stored and managed in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations and providing nutritional and meal planning support and where needed healthy eating plans.
As well as supporting, managing and working alongside a team of volunteers, you will also positively support clients with a range of practical issues, including benefits and debt advice and wellbeing, provide emotional support around areas such confidence building and developing resilience, plus develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies. About the role
Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.
What the role involves
The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. With an understanding of corporate partnerships and a passion for the charity sector and international humanitarian work, you will work as part of a team to ensure long-term relationships are fostered. Principle activities will include:
· Develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies for corporate partnerships, including writing proposals and pitches.
· Foster long-term relationships with partners through personalized and proactive engagement.
· Collaborate across the network to implement global partnership activations locally.
· Produce regular reports on progress, financial targets, and key learnings from fundraising efforts.
· Work with the Head of Corporate Fundraising to streamline the transition from new business prospects to account management.

Our Brighton & Hove Services provide supported accommodation for 50 young people at risk of homelessness across two sites. Gareth Stacey House is one of our 24-hour supported housing projects offering high and medium levels of housing-related support for young people aged of 16-25 with 15 bedspaces and shared communal facilities. We provide support to our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. Our staff team comprises of Support Workers, Night Staff and Managers. Each Support Worker holds a caseload of residents and meets with them weekly to build a support plan and help them achieve their goals.
As a Supported Housing Support Worker you will hold a caseload of residents, working with them on a one-to-one basis with also facilitating group work sessions. You will identify their needs by listening to them, with employing psychologically informed approaches to enable residents to make better choices and take responsibility for their actions. You will work closely with other services such as, Social Services, Police, Probation, education providers and local organisations. Our projects already have excellent working relationships with these services, and your role will build on these. You will be helping them to improve their practical living skills such as cleaning, budgeting, managing behaviour, seeking, and securing employment and making wise decisions. About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a talented Trusts and Foundations Manager who will help to develop and increase income from this emerging income stream for Habitat. With the support of our Head of Philanthropy, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will research new opportunities, and manage the existing pipeline to meet our income targets.
What the role involves
Trusts and foundations are becoming a growing contributor to Habitat’s global programmes and to our work here in the UK, and there is significant potential to develop this further. The role will initially account manage all funders giving up to £50,000, with potential to work on, and take ownership of, larger projects as we grow. Principle activities will include:
Researching new opportunities: Using a variety of sources to proactively identify relevant funding opportunities, matching these with Habitat’s strategic priorities, and planning approaches.
Making applications: Using your exceptional writing skills to synthesise complex information from a range of sources and craft compelling proposals which clearly communicate the impact of Habitat’s programming globally and in the UK, and the synergy with funder criteria.
Stewarding funders: Building our credibility through timely reporting and communication, and tailoring this to the interests of the funder, with the aim of securing repeat and uplifted funding.
Putting a robust administration framework in place: You’ll need to keep Raiser’s Edge, the CRM system we use, up to date, ensure that funder deadlines are met, and future opportunities recorded.
