Job description

Tutors Green is one of the UK’s leading tuition providers - we’re a purpose led company on a mission to make first-class tuition accessible to more students.

Improving the academic outcomes of disadvantaged pupils is at the core of our practice. We have over 9 years’ experience working closely with schools and Local Authorities to deliver highly tailored tuition programmes that help pupils build confidence and achieve their target grades.

We have partnerships with over one hundred schools, several local authorities and we’re a Tuition Partner of the National Tutoring Programme, a programme set up by the Department for Education to make high-quality tutoring available to schools - to help those whose education has been most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Tutors Green is committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.

It’s been an exciting year at Tutors Green, we’ve experienced rapid growth in demand for our services, our internal team has doubled in size and we’re working with more students, schools, Local Authorities and charities than ever before.

To maintain the quality of service as we scale up our tuition services nationally, we’re continuing to grow our internal team.

About the Role

You’ll be joining a passionate and supportive team in an exciting growth-stage of the company. The number of tuition programmes that we manage in both Primary and Secondary schools has doubled year-on-year; and there’s a growing need to set up, manage and monitor the impact of our tuition programmes.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with families, schools, Local Authorities and charities throughout the academic year. You’ll be primarily supporting our Lead Tuition Programme Coordinator in matching our tutors to tuition programmes based on each student's needs, setting up the programmes by coordinating with the tutor and various key stakeholders, managing the programmes once they’ve started, sharing lesson feedback with key stakeholders and monitoring overall progress and impact.

We’re currently recruiting for two separate roles within our Tuition Programme Teams. The two roles are very similar in terms of day-to-day work and responsibilities, the only difference is that one of the roles is within our School Intervention Team who work directly with schools and the other is within our Local Authority Intervention Team who work directly with Local Authorities.

We’ll review each application on a case-by-case basis to help decide which role the candidate is best suited to.
