Senior Payroll Benefits and Pension Manager

Are you a Senior Payroll & Pensions Manager with experience in end-to-end Payroll seeking an 8-month interim role.

Would you like to join a prestigious Higher Education institution and become a valued member of their HR Senior Management Team (SMT). In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the seamless and compliant delivery of critical payroll, pension, and benefits services for the entire university staff.

Your day to day as Senior Payroll, Pensions and Benefits Manager will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of payroll, pension, and benefits operations, guaranteeing adherence to legal requirements and industry best practices.
• To provide expert guidance and support to managers and staff on matters related to payroll and pensions.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and improvement-oriented environment.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimise processes and elevate service delivery.

Your Attributes, Skills and Qualifications will include:

• A demonstrably successful track record in managing payroll and pension operations for a large organisation.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including HMRC, Auto Enrolment, and others.
• Experience with c payroll/HR systems, with familiarity of Business World being advantageous.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to motivate and develop your team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) is preferred.
