About the role
Do you want to ensure people are safe and warm in their homes?
THCH is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Head of Building Safety & Compliance.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our residents live in warm, dry, and safe homes. You'll lead a team to achieve 100% compliance across all areas, including fire safety, gas, electrics, and managing the THCH mould and damp process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the Building Safety Act
- Oversee building safety risk assessments and reviews
- Manage compliance with gas, electric, lifts, and other essential systems
- Ensure all fire safety equipment is maintained to the highest standards
- Deliver an annual gas servicing programme
- Maintain the asbestos register and conduct inspections
- Lead action plans to mitigate identified building safety risks
- Monitor contractor performance and address any issues
- Prepare regular reports on compliance for leadership
- Set and manage budgets for your area
- Ensure residents receive a good service from compliance contractors
About you
