The Talent Set are excited to partner with an International Development charity to recruit for a Supporter Engagement Manager on a permanent basis.
What’s on offer:
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working pattern: Full time, hybrid working with 2 days per week in London office
The Supporter Engagement Manager will lead a team across supporter care and community fundraising to deliver an exceptional supporter experience to donors.
Key duties include:
· Ensure all donations and enquiries are acknowledged appropriately, professionally and within agreed timeframes.
· Manage all supporter engagement and supporter care processes, including the switchboard, external call handling suppliers, post, and supporter complaints.
· Manage the development & delivery of the charity’s Community fundraising programme.
· Develop & maintain strong relationships with the charity’s community groups across the UK.
· Oversee the management of the charity’s challenge events.
· Line managing the Supporter Engagement team, motivating & developing team members to deliver objectives and targets.
We’re looking for the following skills and experience for this role:
· Experience within a Supporter Care, Supporter Engagement or Community Fundraising role, with a strong track record of developing and maintaining strong and effective relationships with donors, supporters and stakeholders.
· Knowledge of supporter engagement and customer care policies, process, procedures and programmes.
· Knowledge of community fundraising and supporter events.
· Knowledge of charity fundraising regulations, GDPR and data practices
· Experience of managing and developing staff, to enable them to meet their objectives and fulfil their potential.
