Social Media Manager
The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with a leading International Development charity to recruit a Social Media Manager.
This is a part time, permanent role (28 hours per week).The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working into their London office.
This is a strategic Social Media Manager position, ideal for someone who can evidence a background in growing online presence, engage with the charity community and drive awareness, fundraising and influencing goals
Key responsibilities
- Develop and oversee community management strategies
- Execute comprehensive social media strategies tailored to a target audience
- Create space for opportunities for innovation and experimentation in social media, exploring new formats, features and platforms to stay ahead of the curve and drive engagement
- Lead of risk management across social media
- Deliver integrated fundraising appeals
- Develop and maintain crisis communications protocols for handling sensitive or contentions issues on social media
Person specification
- Experience of developing and implementing social media strategies in charities
- Line management experience
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Expert knowledge of social listening and tools such as Sprout Social to gain insight to test
- Proven experience of driving direct response and action on social media as well as managing online communities and setting community engagement strategies
