Interim PR Manager

I am working with an exciting charity who  is seeking a passionate and experienced Interim PR Manager to join their team for an inital 3 month contract. 

About the Role:

As PR Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing public relations strategy. You will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, government officials, media contacts, and donors.
• Developing and implementing impactful PR campaigns to raise awareness of the charity's work and drive public support.
• Crafting compelling narratives that effectively communicate our mission, impact, and values to diverse audiences.
• Providing strategic communications counsel to the Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team.
• Writing high-quality press releases, speeches, op-eds, and other communications materials.
• Managing media inquiries and proactively pitching stories to relevant media outlets.
• Monitoring media coverage and analysing its impact.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of the organisation's overall communications strategy.

About You:

• Proven experience in public relations, communications in the charity sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of  team.

What's on offer:

• A day rate of £154.15 daily rate + £19.18 daily holiday pay PAYE
• An initial 3 month contract
• Hybrid working, 3 days in the charity's South London Office (London Borough of Sutton) and 2 days from home.
