Job description

We are working with a lovely health charity who are looking for an interim Database Officer to join their team for an initial 3 month contract. This is a fast moving role with a potential start date of 12th August.
 

This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of the charity's donor data and financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Fundraising CRM (Raisers Edge NXT) through data import, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
  • Process all donations accurately and timely, including cash, cheques, credit cards, Just Giving, standing orders, Direct Debits, and vouchers.
  • Ensure correct coding of payments and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance the efficiency of donation processing in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Train and support fundraising team members in effective database usage.
  • Collaborate with the Database Manager and team members on data coding, file imports, and financial processing.
  • Import and clean financial and non-financial data files from various sources, including online registrations.
  • Reconcile post-import reports against original data to verify accuracy.
  • Create and update database records to maintain data quality standards.

Person Specification

  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of working with Raiser’s Edge, to input supporter and gift details, import data and produce queries and reports.
  • Excellent numeracy skills. 
  • Experience using ImportOmatic

What's on offer
