This exciting project involves creating a new content management system, refreshing their visual identity and content, and seamlessly migrating relevant content from their existing site.

As Project Manager, you'll oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery. Your responsibilities will include developing a detailed project plan, managing timelines and budgets, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive project roadmap outlining key milestones, deadlines, team members, decision-making processes, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a detailed website brief that captures user needs, target audiences, key actions, desired aesthetics, technical requirements, site structure, and security measures.
  • Oversee the website tender process, including issuing the brief, evaluating proposals, and selecting a qualified development agency.
  • Foster ongoing communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their input is incorporated into the project.
  • Leverage your expertise to provide recommendations on staffing needs, technical considerations (e.g., CMS selection), and other project-related matters.
  • Manage and oversee the transfer of content from the existing website to the new platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Person Specification:

  • Proven track record in managing successful website redevelopment projects, with experience in the charity sector preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and prioritise requirements for website development.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies to deliver successful website projects.
  • Strong understanding of digital project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and their respective benefits.
  • Proficiency in using common project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Experience managing content migrations between websites.
  • Proven ability to launch websites with minimal disruption to users and traffic.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) for website redevelopments.
  • Deep understanding of website security and compliance best practices.
  • Familiarity with website technologies, content management systems, and development processes.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders and clear presentation of complex information.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  •

What’s on Offer:

  • A flexible working pattern offering either remote or hybrid working – it’s your choice.
  • An 8-month opportunity offering a day rate of either £310 per-day PAYE or £360 per-day via umbrella.
  • An opportunity to work on a fantastic project in an organisation that is doing fantastic work internationally.
