Digital Content Officer
c.£32,500 FTE
Part Time, 3 days a week, Hybrid working (1 day a week in London Office)
The Talent Set is excited to be partnering with a leading membership association as they recruit a Digital Content Officer to support their digital strategy. This role focuses on creating and managing accessible website content, ensuring a user-friendly experience for members. Working closely with the Digital Manager, to maintain and enhance digital platforms, oversee content updates, and troubleshoot website issues. Ideal candidates will have experience with WordPress, digital accessibility, and content SEO, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and update pages, ensuring all multimedia elements meet accessibility standards.
- Upload and edit text, optimise images, and ensure all content remains accurate and engaging.
- Identify and fix broken links, page errors, and missing alt text, proactively improving website usability.
- Act as the main point of contact for staff content requests and website issues, resolving queries via Jira Service Desk or escalating where necessary.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), accessibility reviews, and digital product enhancements in collaboration with the Digital Manager.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and digital agencies to ensure a seamless user experience across all digital platforms.
Person Specification:
- Confident in creating, editing, and maintaining accessible digital content.
- Ability to tailor digital content for different audiences while ensuring clarity and accessibility.
- Capable of managing digital enquiries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating when necessary.
- Experience working with internal teams and external agencies to improve digital products and user experience.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy across multiple projects.
