Job description

Flexible location

This is an exciting new role with the opportunity to make your mark on our websites across The Salvation Army’s UK and Ireland Territory, at a time of digital growth. You will use your technical, regulatory and strategic knowledge to elevate our website, lead the websites roadmap and support the organisation to put best practice at the heart of our web infrastructure. 

As the Website Manager you will;

  • Work within a passionate Digital section, working with our wider Territory on website support, delivering training and advising on how to increase income and engagement. As product owner, you will be passionate about optimisation and improvements, SEO and UX, testing and reporting and getting the very best out of the product. Working with our web agency, you will prioritise projects, manage content, be the escalation point and lead a team.
  • Have excellent technical, organisational, creative and reporting skills, with a strong track record working with content management systems (we use Drupal), SEO tools, Google (GA, GSC, GTM), and CMP tools like OneTrust.
