Job description

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you proficient at picking up new systems and processes quickly and using data analytically? We would like to hear from you!

We have an opportunity for an Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to help coordinate our financial planning timetable and reporting systems.

This new role will see you play a pivotal role in our FP&A team and the annual reporting timetable and tasks. This role involves preparing financial reports, analysing performance, developing budgets, maintaining the reporting systems, providing insights to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with the charity’s financial goals and objectives.

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

Reporting to one of our Senior Finance Business Partners, key responsibilities will include:

- Under the supervision of the financial management team, co-ordinating the annual budget and quarterly forecasts exercises for the RBL Group
- Coordinating the collation and reporting of monthly management accounts
- Taking overall responsibility for the output of the charity’s reporting system (Prophix) including the reporting and commentary of results, and output from the budgeting and forecast processes
- Ensuring that Budget Holders and the FP&A team have a good knowledge of Prophix through regular training and knowledge shares

Here at RBL, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.

As this role does not require a qualification, we would be open to funding elements of a professional accountancy qualification, pending the completion of a probationary period.
You will be contracted to our London, Haig House Hub. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub.

For more detailed information about the role, please see our Vacancy Information Pack attached to our direct advert.

RBL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organisation, reflecting the diversity of the armed forces community and of wider society. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and personal characteristics.

We may close this vacancy early if we believe we have enough strong applications to be able to successfully fill the role. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
