The Role:
As our Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our portfolio of corporate partners and advertisers. Your efforts will help ACEVO generate about 45% of our income, ensuring we continue to support and inspire civil society leaders. You'll be responsible for nurturing existing relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving engagement through partnerships, event sponsorships, and advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Corporate Partnerships
- Maintain and nurture a portfolio of corporate relationships and advertisers.
- Build strong relationships with commercial organisations through extensive phone work and face-to-face meetings.
- Provide relevant engagement opportunities to partners in line with their level of investment.
- Increase engagement, activity, and financial contributions from existing partners.
- Regularly report to partners on ACEVO activities, including membership, policy, and corporate partner engagement.
- Convert in-bound job advertising enquiries into long-term advertisers.
- Produce member newsletters promoting corporate partner services and ACEVO's job services.
- Identify and support corporate partner venues, managing related admin with the events team.
- Represent ACEVO professionally at internal and external events.
- Manage and drive revenue to ACEVO Jobs, our recruitment advertising platform.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in corporate partnerships, account management, or new business development.
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence.
- Proficiency in CRM systems; Salesforce experience is desirable.
- Excellent customer service, administrative, and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Job Purpose:
- Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
- Have day to day responsibility for the Individual Giving income stream
- Manage a portfolio of existing Individual Giving supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors.
- Improve supporter retention and maximise donors’ lifetime value to hyh
- Manage, develop and lead on the use of hyh’s CRM effectively to segment data and make insight-led decisions. This includes developing new reports, liaising with the external CRM consultant to make improvements, writing up procedures and training members of the team in best practice.
- Acquire and develop new donors through solicitation and stewardship plans using a supporter journey programme to build engagement and loyalty.
- Develop marketing and comms materials through digital and other channels to deliver the programme.

The Third Age Trust is seeking to appoint a Learning Officer to support learning across the u3a movement. The post will be focused on growing the national & online learning provisions, in a way that serves and supports local u3a activity.
This is an exciting time for the u3a movement, with many members open to new ways of learning. British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) is a membership organisation that brings together expertise from across the rheumatology profession, harnessing a wide variety of experience and skills to ensure we’re supporting our members to the very best of our combined ability. Our mission is to support members to deliver the best care at all stages of the rheumatology care pathway, focusing on communication, transparency and collaboration.
Rheumatology Advances in Practice (RAP) is a fully Open Access journal that publishes quantitative and qualitative research not only from the field of rheumatology. The Editor-in-Chief plays a key role in providing leadership, vision and strategy.
Job Purpose
The Editor-in-Chief will be appointed by the BSR and the term of appointment will be for a five-year period. The Editor-in-Chief plays a key role in providing leadership, vision and strategy of the journal.
The Editor-in-Chief for Rheumatology Advances in Practice (RAP) will work with BSR to develop and produce a high-quality journal as well as establish its strategic direction. They will be involved in updating the BSR Board of Trustees and RAP Editorial Board as well as leading the social media presence of the journal.
The Editor-in-Chief will have a general responsibility to the broader rheumatology, paediatric, primary care and allied health community in communicating clinical and scientific advances and standards, to promote their needs and aspirations by commissioning content and planning Special Issues that will enhance the field of research, care and support for these communities.
The Editor-in-Chief will work with the Society and Publisher to ensure that it continues to meet its objectives and set strategic goals for the journal.
The general strategic aims and objectives of the journal are:
- Ensure robust ethical standards and high-quality peer review
- Grow quality and number of submissions and publications yearly
- Ensure international recognition and reach of this journal by publishing high quality scientific and clinical research from across the world, and maintaining an engaged international Editorial Board
The journal is an open access, go to resource for the Rheumatology community, with a scope that encompasses the wide range of disciplines involved in the field. We recently received an impressive first impact factor of 3.1 and we are excited to continue to grow the presence of the journal internationally. As the journal is fully online and open access, we have exciting opportunities to provide a multitude of publishing services for our authors, in line with the industry standards and experimenting with new ways of publishing. We listen to the voice of the authors, readers, reviewers and board members to understand their publishing needs and are excited to trial new projects. For example, we recently launched a new article type called an ‘Atlas Review’ with a unique offer of unlimited figures, allowing authors to illustrate their important discussions and not limiting the capabilities via text exclusively.
Quality and ethical standards
The Editor-in-Chief will ensure an appropriate balance of good quality articles, so the journal addresses the needs of the multidisciplinary rheumatology community. The Editor-in-Chief will oversee that the journal maintains the highest ethical and moral standards. The journal must be seen to be fair and unbiased towards individuals and provides a comprehensive and balanced view of the speciality. The journal will be a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and be committed to the highest ethical standards in journal publishing.
Conference attendance
The BSR, EULAR and ACR conferences provide an excellent opportunity to network with current and prospective authors, reviewers and Editorial Board members, as well as to commission new content for the journal and to provide social media updates. Conferences can also be used to arrange podcast and video interviews with authors, Board Members and colleagues). Delegate tickets to EULAR, the BSR AC and ACR will be covered by the British Society for Rheumatology and travel and hotel expenses will be covered as outlined in the budget.
Editorial support to the Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief will receive day-to-day support for processing papers and managing peer review from the BSR in-house Editorial Office team, as well as support from contacts at Oxford University Press. Co-Editors, Associate Editors and wider Editorial Board also provide support and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief.
The relationship with the British Society for Rheumatology
The day-to-day contact with the BSR will be through the Editorial Office; however, the Editor-in-Chief will have several relationships as follows:
- BSR Journal Committee
The BSR Journal Committee will review and supply any feedback about overall advice given by the Editorial Board on the content, quality, standards, promotion, and performance of the journal to the Editor-in-Chief. The Rheumatology Advances in Practice Journal committee is responsible for overseeing and approving the finances, scope and policies of Rheumatology. The committee ensure actions decided upon further the work of the Journal and its development within the Journal’s aims and scope The Editor will present at the BSR Annual Conference AGM when required.
- BSR Board of Trustees, CEO and Senior Management Team
Advised by the BSR Senior Management Team, the BSR Board of Trustees approve the finances and strategy of the journal. Members of the BSR Senior Management Team attend the Journal Committee. The Editor-in-Chief is asked to attend the BSR Board of Trustees on an ad hoc basis to provide an update on strategy and delivery.
- Rheumatology Editor-in-Chief
There is a transfer of papers model in place, so the Editors-in-Chief will have opportunity to collaborate with the Editor of Rheumatology to ensure the right papers are directed to the right journals by understanding the scope of each journal and the criteria. The journals share a Twitter page and marketing and promotional campaigns can be co-ordinated.
- Oxford University Press
OUP publish the journal on behalf of the BSR. OUP provides a full publishing experience with expert teams who advise and support on matters related to production, marketing and law, publishing ethics and strategy. The publisher, BSR and the EiC work closely to ensure the journal strategy is bespoke for Rheumatology Advances in Practice to maintain the current community, build the readership and authorship, and align with the visions and values of BSR. The EiC will meet OUP contacts at the Journal Committee Meeting and strategy planning meetings, as the publisher highly values the knowledge and experience of the EiC. Day to day communication will be via the Editorial Office to ensure smooth running of journal procedures.
Main responsibilities
- Work towards and guide the 5-year strategy for the journal
- Set strategic goals with the BSR and the publisher to apply for further indexing, and maintain or grow the Impact Factor
- Work with the BSR, publisher and Editorial Board to target and commission reviews, original articles and special issues, and curate a sponsored supplement timeline
- Ensure that the journal’s scope is international and is reflected in its content
- Ensure the journal is produced to a high standard, and that it reflects the needs of the full spectrum of the rheumatology professional community
- Ensure rapid peer review with time to first decision within three weeks
- Ensure the Editorial Board reflects not only the various subspecialties within rheumatology but also includes a global spread
- Ensure that the journal is promoted online using a range of media to promote and raise awareness of the journal
- Participating in the digital offerings of the journal, such as hosting podcasts
Person Specification
- A PhD degree/ Doctor of Medicine, specialised in Rheumatology, with a clinical science background and a strong understanding of recent trends and developments
- Demonstrable experience in an editorial role including, reviewer, editorial board member, associate editor or guest editor
- Adaptability to new publishing systems and software. Experience with the system, ScholarOne, would be beneficial to the role but is not a requirement as training can be provided

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible individual to join St Paul’s School as our Senior Engagement and Events Manager.
The post holder will manage the delivery of events and engagement activities for the whole of the St Paul’s community—pupils, Old Paulines (alumni), parents of current and/or former pupils, and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience managing both physical and virtual events and have at least 3 years’ experience working in development/alumni relations/events or an equivalent profession.

the3million is looking for a new Community Organiser to help us build the power of EU citizens in the UK and of their non-EU family members, working alongside two other Organisers in our team and the members of our EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network
Since Brexit, EU citizens in the UK and their family members have been brought under the Hostile Environment. the3million has been providing information to EU citizens and has continuously advocated for a fairer immigration system, especially in making the EU Settlement Scheme more accessible to all.
We provide a platform for EU citizens to become politically active and use their voices to advocate for themselves. The Community Organiser will be part of a team to create opportunities for EU citizens to have increased capacity to engage in activism and lead the change they want to see in the UK, their home.
This role is at an officer level and suitable for people who are looking for their first paid role in Organising, but have had some grassroots experience, even if on an informal or voluntary basis. You can expect to be mentored by an experienced Community Organiser and thereby learn a lot while on the job. More experienced candidates are also welcome to apply.We are currently in the process of applying for funding to extend this role. If we are successful, the contract will be extended by 2 years and we will work with the successful Organiser on a progression route, reviewing the job holder’s salary level after they have been in the role for 6 months.

**Duties and responsibilities **
1. Co-lead the3million’s “EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network”

Working with the Community Organiser - Campaigns to recruit more members of the EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network by regularly reaching out to relevant communities and booking 1-1 meetings with key community leaders;

Working with the Community Organiser - Campaigns to support and guide our existing Network members made up of over 40 community leaders who have a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience in campaigning, developing their confidence and ability to become effective change-makers and encouraging them to take coordinated, strategic actions to advance our campaigns;

Co-facilitate monthly Network meetings: setting agendas, facilitating Breakout rooms, taking minutes and following up with Network members on their agreed actions;

Support the3million’s campaigns by supporting our Head of Policy and Advocacy on our MP-facing work in Parliament and our Communications Manager to ensure that our campaigns are featured on our social media, newsletters and clearly communicated to key stakeholders such as partner organisations in the migration sector and to key community leaders on the ground
2. Relationship-building and in-person workshops

Rolling out a series of “listening sessions” and “Know Your Rights” workshops with community groups across the country: liaising with relevant community leaders to visit them and their communities, this may include working on Saturdays (and taking time off in lieu during the week) and running in-person sessions. You will receive guidance on the format from the Community Organiser - Campaigns but will be the main person delivering such sessions on the ground.
3. Professional learning and development
- Taking a proactive approach to your learning and development towards becoming a confident and versatile Community Organiser and Campaigns specialist, you will have regular check-ins with your line manager (Community Organiser - Political Campaigns) and engage in an ongoing process of evaluation, thereby reflecting on the work you are carrying out to draw out learning and being willing to stretch yourself. We deliver talking therapies to adults – online and in person. The Evolve counselling community is made up of around 50 qualified practitioners working part-time at donated or subsidised rates. Our service delivers around 500 counselling sessions per month to a broad range of individuals, many of whom would not otherwise be able to access counselling support. Evolve also provides supervision, reflective practice, critical incident support and mental health awareness and related training to organisations.
Main purpose of the job
The Head of Counselling works with our counsellor members and executive team to ensure that Evolve is the local counselling charity of choice - managing existing client relationships and service contracts, as well as seeking and securing new business. They are responsible for the clinical leadership of our counselling and related services to clients, and for supporting, motivating, and managing our counsellor members.
About the candidate
The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified and experienced individual who has leadership expertise, with the ability to engage with colleagues, trustees, counselling clients, organisational contacts and other stakeholders. They will have demonstrable experience of delivering a high-quality service in line with ethical standards and good practice, monitoring and evaluating impact and outcomes, as well as identifying and implementing, alongside other members of the executive team, service development/improvement and growth initiatives. They should also have a good understanding of the commercial considerations of managing a counselling service, and have experience of successful funding proposal/ bid writing and delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Management
- Overall responsibility for incoming referrals and allocations as well as ongoing management of clients and any waiting lists.
- Monitor the balance between counsellor capacity and client demand.
- Provide leadership and support to the counselling members.
- Be the first point of contact for clinical advice and enquiries.
- Ensure the quality of provision to clients and the care of counsellors.
- Lead on revising, updating of existing, and writing of new, clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with charity standards as well as ethical and legal standards.
- Liaise with the CEO as Designated Safeguarding Lead, taking responsibility as the Counselling Safeguarding Lead. This includes ensuring that Evolve adheres to local and national guidelines for safeguarding and that issues relating to client risk are appropriately dealt with.
- Oversee counselling members’ health and safety including lone working and risk assessment.
- Manage and respond to complaints in line with Evolve’s procedures.
- Monitor, implement and ensure clinical service compliance with GDPR standards.
- Report on clinical service performance and attend Trustee Board meetings as required.
Training and development
- Ensure that all counsellors have the appropriate training, experience, and specialist knowledge required to support Evolve clients, including identifying training and development needs.
Recruitment
- Lead the recruitment of new counsellors, including interviewing potential new members as well as clinical induction and training of new counsellors.
- Oversee the annual membership renewal process, ensuring all members are compliant with Evolve requirements.
Monitoring and impact analysis
- Take responsibility for client feedback, ensuring comments are reviewed and acted on as appropriate.
- Compile reports and impact analysis as required, for internal and external stakeholders.
Business Development and General requirements
- Work alongside the CEO and executive team to represent Evolve and promote awareness of Evolve’s services along with the importance of mental health awareness and support. Provide clinical and commercial input to funding proposals and/or new service developments.
- Participate in Evolve’s committees, support work with the Trustee Board, and through events for the membership, to shape the future development growth and sustainability of Evolve Counselling CIO.
- Build and maintain effective external professional networks within Evolve’s operational areas.
- Work closely with the Administrator to ensure all data regarding members and clients is up to date, appropriately recorded and in line with Data Protection guidelines.
- Provide input to Evolve’s website and social media presence and other marketing channels, suggesting and writing content for posts and resources as required.

The Grants Administrator, will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Development & Programme Management in various critical functions. Your primary responsibilities revolve around fundraising activities, including the meticulous administration of grants and the drafting and reporting on grant proposals. Internally, you will liaise between teams, especially research, seeking their input into grant proposals, and working closely with the Finance Team to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting for fundraising efforts.
