Resolve@ service in Shropshire based at the office in Wellington.

There will be an expectation to do face to face work with young people out of our Wellington office and travel across Shropshire.

37 hours a week

Permanent position but with a provisional end date for funding of 31st March 2025

Do you want to support a team who work with children, young people with emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties?

Resolve@ service is a piece of work offering a service to support children and young people (CYP) who are requiring support with their emotional and mental health wellbeing, following an experience of Domestic Violence Abuse.

The nature of the service means that the CYP accessing Resolve@ require intensive support to be provided during out of hours and weekends. The service holds no waiting lists and therefore the ability to build relationships quickly, identify risks, and process further support is vital.

In order to be considered for this post you will have to demonstrate that you already have:

Skills

-Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with all clients - Practicing in a non-judgement and anti-discriminatory manner

-Competencies in undertaking risk assessments within scope of practice

Work-based Knowledge

-Knowledge of emotional health and mental health presentations and an understanding of evidence based and best practice interventions.

-Demonstrates knowledge of the issues surrounding biological, socio- economic factors and mental health.

-Knowledge of Safeguarding issues and risks for children, young people and young adults aged 8-18.

-Able to demonstrate a knowledge of the issues that children, young people and young adults face when accessing mental health services.

Experience

-Evidence of working in settings with people age 8-18 who have emotional, behavioural and/or mental health concerns.

-Evidence of providing 1:1 sessions and groups.

-Evidence of working in partnership

-Evidence of assessments and Outcome tools
