Base location - Compton Acres Shopping Centre, Nottingham (West Bridgford), with travel across region (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire) for cover requirements of the role.

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

This role sits within our retail department (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire. Your role will be to cover shops when needed to ensure that they remain open during periods of sickness and other leave cover, also, to assist in the day to day running of the regions operational needs when needed, to include stock processing for a variety of shops.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking person who is a team player and wants to make a difference across the region as we grow and diversify, to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to shop cover across the region and the processing of stock either in stores or centrally in Compton Acres Shopping Centre shop to ensure that stock is allocated effectively to our bricks and mortar store and our eBay operation.

[KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES]

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-Ability to travel across the region to supply cover when required.

-Good attention to detail, with an understanding of stock quality, clothing brands and able to evaluate the worth of an item

-Well organised and able to work under pressure when needed

-Willing to support shops when the need arises, following the shop processes and ways of working.
