This role sits within our Social Impact Domain.

We are currently looking for a confident and outgoing fundraiser to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to create compelling written cases for support, attracting donors to give financial gifts to the charity. alongside this, you will be a confident networker, able to initiate conversations with new people at events or in public, from which you will cultivate a relationship towards a financial gift. you will also be a natural 'thanker', going above and beyond to ensure donors feel specials in regards to their charitable giving.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-You are likely in your early years of fundraising, however, you have some knowledge and experience in the charity fundraising sphere.

-A capable and compelling writer.

-A good listener, adapting your conversation to the donors interests.

-You are a detail oriented team player, with good organizational skills.

The Children's Society runs over 100 local services that help thousands of young people who desperately need our support, and we campaign to get laws and policies changed to make children's lives happier and safer.

Every day we're changing the lives of children in this country for the better - and with your help, tomorrow we can be there for even more.

The Children's Society is committed to safeguarding and protecting the children and young people that we work with. As such, all posts are subject to a safer recruitment process, including the disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks.
