Job description

Do you have experience in designing and implementing pilot projects and proof-of-concept activities? Do you have a proven record of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to be agile when working across multiple projects?

We are looking for a Student Social Enterprise Manager to create, lead, and manage the Union’s first programme of activities to fully realise UCL students’ social entrepreneurial potential. This will be done through excellent campaigns, events, training, and networking opportunities that result in students with the right skill set and attitude developing their own entrepreneurial mindset and social enterprises for mutual benefit to themselves and local, national, or international communities.

We are a registered charity employing over 100 career staff and 300 student staff, delivering a wide range of services and representative functions for UCL students. We have the widest portfolio of services of any student organisation in the country, managing UCL’s extracurricular programmes for sport, music, drama, dance, media, volunteering, academic societies and intercultural engagement; providing a wide range of fantastic social spaces; leading on student democracy and representation across UCL; and offering excellent student support services.
