OPERATIONS MANAGER

St Paul’s Church is looking for a full-time Operations Manager to manage the operational life of St Paul’s Church and Community Centre. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Vicar, Wardens and staff at a senior level, supporting the mission and ministry of the church through excellence in resource, building and people management.  The church is a member of Heart Edge, a collection of churches that structure their ministry around four areas: congregation, community, culture and commerce.

This means that St Paul’s:

• Values the arts as an expression of our belief in a God who has given us creativity and runs a bi-annual arts festival for all.  

• Believes in good financial stewardship and the necessity and importance of commercial activity so we can fund the church's mission and ministry.  

St Paul's strives to be an eco church (it has the Silver Award) and the Operations Manager will be instrumental in enabling the church to become carbon neutral by 2030. St Paul's is also a member of Inclusive Church and seeks to be a place of welcome to all. The Operations Manager will deliver on accessibility.
