St. Michael's Hospice is seeking a dedicated and experienced fundraiser to lead our Individual Giving portfolio. The Individual Giving Lead will play a pivotal role in generating funding for St. Michael's Hospice through individual giving - inspiring new donors and maximising opportunities with existing ones.

About St. Michael’s Hospice

St. Michael’s Hospice is a registered charity providing palliative and end of life care services for the people of North Hampshire.

As a charity, we depend on the kindness and support of our local community to continue offering our services free of charge. It may come as a surprise, but only 16% of our funding comes from the government. End-of-life care is an essential service, not a luxury, yet it is not funded like other care services. To keep the Hospice’s services running, we need raise an additional £15,000 every day.

The role

As our Individual Giving Lead, you will ensure that everyone that makes a donation to St. Michael’s Hospice, feels valued and that their donation has truly made a difference.

You will maximise opportunities for individual supporters across the individual giving portfolio. Identifying areas for growth and achieve new income across all income streams and enjoy building and deepening engagement with existing supporters.

This role can be office based or hybrid (a mix of home and office working). We would like someone to work a minimum of three days, however hours can be worked across the week, to suit the candidate.

The fundraising office is in Millennium House, Priestley Road Basingstoke and has free parking. It is within a short walking distance from St. Michael’s Hospice and Basingstoke Hospital.
