The Role of a Trustee

As a Trustee, you will be a key player in shaping the Trust’s strategic direction and ensuring it continues to deliver on its ambitious goals. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Providing strategic leadership and ensuring the Trust upholds its core values and objectives.

·         Holding the leadership team to account for both educational and financial performance.

·         Promoting innovation and excellence across all our schools, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

·         Ensuring strong governance and legal compliance, while acting as a critical friend to the executive team.

 

What We’re Looking For

We welcome individuals from a broad range of professional backgrounds, especially those with expertise in:

·         Education, finance, safeguarding/send, risk management, and EDI.

·         A genuine commitment to improving the life chances of young people.

·         Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

·         The ability to work collaboratively and constructively with other Trustees and the leadership team.

 

Previous experience as a Trustee is not essential—we value fresh perspectives and a willingness to learn.
