About the role   

The PCN Wellbeing Advisor will work across all surgeries within their allocated PCN and within the wellbeing service for training, support and supervision.

The PCN Wellbeing Advisor will be responsible for looking after their own case load. Providing support through 1-1 skills based work that will enable people to better manage their own low level mental health issue in the longer term. Good It skills are needed as recording and sharing appropriate data for the requirements of both Solent Mind and the PCN will be required.

There will be a full training and induction package for this post.

About you  

You will need to have a good understanding of a mental health issue, as well as experience of working with people with mental health needs, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the key difficulties and challenges faced by people on their recovery journey. Good It skills are needed as recording and sharing appropriate data for the requirements of both Solent Mind and the PCN will be required.
