About the role

Step 2 and 3 of the NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire service is provided in partnership by Solent Mind (step 2) and Southern Health NHS Foundation (step 3). We employ Qualified PWPs to deliver support to step 2 patients.

This role involves delivering assessments as well as evidenced-based low intensity CBT interventions for those with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety disorders. The range of treatments you may provide would include one-to-one guided self-help via telephone and video, with the opportunity to offer face-to-face in addition to cCBT programmes, webinars, workshops and psycho-educational groups.

You’ll be based across either Eastleigh, Gosport or Basingstoke Digital Hubs, including hybrid working considered with some home working each week.

The starting salary is £28,407 pro-rata, per annum rising to £30,639 after 2 years of service and then £34,581 after a further 2 years of service.

About you

You’ll need to be highly motivated and resilient to cope with the demands of working in this large, high volume service. To be successful, you’ll also need strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner and excellent IT and organisational skills.

You must hold a Postgraduate or Degree Certificate in Psychological Therapies, otherwise you cannot be considered for this role.
