The role:

This is a great opportunity for you to join our small friendly team and make a real difference to people’s lives by:

·      Providing direction and oversight to programmes of social care improvement work, designing and implementing new tools and approaches that ensure SCIE’s projects deliver against our clients’ requirements.

·      Leading the delivery of key client relationships and higher profile projects to manage complex improvement and consultancy projects for clients in adults or children’s social care including diagnostics, change management projects, organisational and practice reviews.

·      Managing and delivering multiple complex projects to time, budget and quality through the development, communication and management of clear project plans, stakeholder liaison and risk management utilising SCIE’s project Management approach.

·      Advising on best practice by looking at emerging trends and approaches in social care.

What we are looking for:

·      Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

·      Understanding of Social Care practice, policy and commissioning

·      Experience of leading complex consultancy and change projects and experience of deigning and delivering improvement tools and approaches for local government

·      Experience of consulting and change theories, frameworks and how to apply

·      Experience of analysing performance and evaluation data

·      Experience of stakeholder engagement and management and ability to maintain effective collaborative working relationships

·      Experience of leading teams
