Are you passionate about supporting gardening groups? Do you believe in the potential of gardens and gardening to inspire and generate positive change for wellbeing and the environment?  Can you build networks, partnerships and collaborations which drive social impact?

Overview of the Role:

We are looking for a Community Partnerships and Networks Manager to join our dynamic and passionate team, which sits within our new Learning and Public Engagement division.  The candidate will use a partnership approach to work with organisations across the UK, placing the RHS at the heart of community gardening, supporting community gardening groups and opening up gardening for anyone, anywhere.  This is an exceptional opportunity for a committed and agile leader, who wants to make a difference.

You will be part of the Management Team for the National Community Programmes Department, leading the direction and development of RHS-wide national community programmes including Britain in Bloom and It's Your Neighbourhood. This is an exciting time to be joining the UK’s leading gardening charity, our new Strategy launched in 2023 and sets out our vision for a world where gardening is embraced as a way of life – a source of joy and fulfilment, building healthier lives, stronger communities, and thriving environments.

As Community Partnerships and Networks Manager you will be responsible for:

Developing the RHS’ offer for the UK's expanding number of community gardening groups through strategic partnerships and networks.

Supporting the RHS to continue to build its visibility and reputation as a highly collaborative and knowledgeable champion for community gardening in the UK.

To work for the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is to join a thriving charity, whose mission is to be there for everyone on their lifelong adventure with gardening. Everything we do is built on the transformational power of gardening – and the benefits it brings to people, places and our planet.

And we couldn’t do this without our people. We’re proud of the knowledge, enthusiasm and ideas that each one of our team members brings. From working across our social media channels, to volunteering in the RHS Gardens, from serving customers in our garden centres to running national marketing campaigns, we believe that every member of the RHS team should have the opportunity to make a difference.
