Job description
About The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic fundraising Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in planning and delivering a variety of fundraising events both in the UK and overseas. You'll be at the heart of our event logistics team, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed to provide an exceptional experience for our supporters. From liaising with venues and managing road closures to overseeing health and safety and coordinating travel arrangements, your work will directly contribute to the success of our events and the growth of our fundraising efforts.
Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.
As a Fundraising Events Coordinator, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, event partners, and suppliers to bring our events portfolio to life. Your project management skills will be essential as you help develop and execute detailed event plans that align with our broader marketing and partnership strategies. Whether you're coordinating with local governments, organising commemorative ceremonies, or managing on-the-day logistics, your role will be essential in ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets our high standards.
In addition to the logistical aspects, you'll also play a key role in enhancing the overall supporter experience. Working with the wider team, you'll ensure that every interaction with our participants is positive and engaging, helping to build lasting relationships with our supporters. Your ability to contribute to event evaluations and provide insightful recommendations will be vital in refining our approach and maximising the impact of our future events.
If you’re someone with a passion for event management, a knack for building strong relationships, and a drive to make a difference, this role offers an exciting opportunity to do just that. Join us, and together we’ll create memorable events that not only raise funds but also inspire and connect with our supporters.
Here at RBL, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.
You will be contracted to our London hub, Haig House. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, but with a minimum expectation of two days a week connection directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub.
For more detailed information about the role, please see our Vacancy Information Pack attached to our direct advert.
RBL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organisation, reflecting the diversity of the armed forces community and of wider society. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and personal characteristics.
We may close this vacancy early if we believe we have enough strong applications to be able to successfully fill the role(s). Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
