Based in Bristol (with ability to work from home 2 days a week)

Avon Wildlife Trust

Avon Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the invaluable support of volunteers, members and corporate supporters, they are the largest local charity working to protect wildlife across the West of England. They manage 30 nature reserves for wildlife and people, working with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the region and inspire local communities and people of all ages to care for wildlife where they live.

The Board are now looking for an interim CEO to offer leadership to the organisation whilst they recruit a new permanent Chief Executive. Working closely with the Board, you will be responsible for supporting the senior management team as it moves forward in delivering the Trust's 2030 Strategy.   You will be a sounding board, guiding workload prioritisation and having oversight of the everyday running of the Trust. You will use your expertise in strategy and project management to guide the Trust on the next steps in its development.

We are looking for an experienced Interim CEO for this role. Conservation or Fundraising experience (including major donor programmes) is an advantage.
