Job description

Prospectus is delighted to be collaborating with Two Saints, who provide accommodation and support for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. They are a safety net for people in tough times and the springboard to a brighter future. Two Saints services work across Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton and they work with local authorities and partnership organisations to ensure their clients get the best support possible and provide pathways to improving health and wellbeing and building on individual's skills and resilience to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and exclusion.

We are working with them  t o find a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to provide comprehensive day-to-day HR support across their operational services. This role is crucial in assisting with the implementation of HR policies and supporting the HR team and managers in delivering the overall HR operations and strategy. If you are passionate about human resources and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this position is perfect for you. After an initial onboarding period, the role can offer some flexibility, working on a hybrid basis, (approximately 3 days a week at their central services based in Fareham or in services as needed).

 

As the first point of contact for managers and staff on HR-related queries, you will provide advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate staff records, managing the HR system, and ensuring timely payroll data. Additionally, you will manage employee relations queries, contribute to HR projects, and stay updated on changes in employment law and policy. Your role will be integral in enhancing HR systems, producing metric reports, and supporting managers and staff with general queries.

 

The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience, some experience in an HR advisory or administrative role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organisation. You should be IT literate, have some exposure to HR management systems and possess excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. An understanding of basic employment law and HR best practices is required.
