Age UK is offering an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Change Manager to support local Age UKs to maintain and enhance their strategic positioning, financial sustainability, and governance.
This role will provide support to both individual and groups of local Age UKs in relation to organisational development, significant strategic change, contingency planning, and crisis management. Support will need to be provided in a timely, focused, and impactful manner.
The Strategic Change Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Network to develop and implement robust project plans, take a proactive approach to challenges, and ensure the continuity of high-quality services and support for older people.
The role will have responsibility for overseeing a small team of Network & Engagement Managers whose focus is to develop and maintain strong relationships with Chief Officers and Chairs of local Age UKs.

Salary advertised is reflective of a hybrid/London contract, a blend of home working and working from our central London office.
This role may also be considered as a home-based contract - salary £52,326 - £57,834
There is a requirement to travel to sites across the Age UK Network, when required.
Age UK Grade 4L (or 4N)
Must haves:
- Excellent understanding of the policy and legislative environment in which Age UK services operate, current and future issues in the charity sector, governance, and legal framework and how it translates into reality.

Support to Head of Advice and Support
- Line management of three case workers

This role will play a key role in delivering our ambitious policy influencing programme, helping to develop and advocate for the policy changes needed to reduce, prevent and eventually end the need for food banks in the UK. It will focus on developing Trussell policy positions in either employment support (especially for people with barriers to work) or disability and sickness benefits. About the team
The Health Information team work to inform and engage the public with information on cancer prevention, early diagnosis and screening. We do this using evidence and look for opportunities to reach those who need it most. We use our knowledge and communications expertise to guide and shape activity across the charity including policy, partnerships and fundraising.
What will I be doing?
Oversee the provision of high quality, accessible and evidence-based health information including maintaining a good understanding of best practice
Provide strategic direction for CRUK's health information priority topics to maximise impact across public facing channels including but not limited to health marketing, communications and partnerships
Act as a senior subject matter expert on health information and use of evidence, advising senior internal and external stakeholders (Executive Board, other charities, researchers)
Act as a senior media spokesperson and provide expert sign-off for health information content used in a range of external channels (including press and policy influencing)

This shift towards prioritising long-term outcomes and an evolved delivery approach requires an expert Data and Insight Coordinator who can play a central role in data management and analysis, systems development, MEAL (Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning), and storytelling.
Whilst this role requires proven experience of quantitative skills, we are open to candidates with limited or no experience in qualitative research. This is a varied role and there will be opportunities for fieldwork e.g. conducting interviews, facilitating and moderating focus groups, etc. We can provide training and support to help you develop the necessary qualitative skills.

The Role
As a key member of the Institute’s growing nature team, you will be working specifically international nature markets. You will be working on a funded project of work, to support COP15 signatories to understand and implement models and markets that unlock private sector capital into nature restoration and conservation and help them meet their Target 19 commitments. This role will be part of a three-person team within the broader nature team.
You will gain exposure to a range of stakeholders including policy makers, project developers and the private sector across multiple countries. Your responsibilities will include organising stakeholder convening, undertaking research and analysis, developing content, and managing sub-projects autonomously.

The Role
This exciting fixed-term role will help the IOP to understand and support Wales’s education and skills sectors and to ensure that the voice of Wales is heard and represented in the IOP’s broader work across the UK and Ireland. The People Information Assistant will play a key role supporting the people journey with involvement in all aspects of the employee and volunteer life cycle including recruitment, onboarding and induction, contract variations and leaver processes with a key focus on volunteering administration. The successful candidate will also play an active part in contributing to process development and improvement and enhancing the customer experience.
About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Experience of human resources administration processing with a good understanding of the people life cycle.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel.
*As a hybrid worker the expectation is that you will spend around 40% of your working time in our office spaces or working in community settings.
