Hours: 30 hours per week

We have a great opportunity for a well-organised and proactive individual with experience of working in an executive assistant and/or administration role. The role works to two Directors and their Directorates spanning fundraising, communications, campaigns and advocacy, and UK programmes.

Plan International UK is a global children’s charity striving for an equal world. One where every child can reach their full potential and every girl can choose her own future. In this role you will have a chance to contribute to our mission through providing high quality support.

The Influencing and External Affairs Directorate builds awareness and mobilises support for Plan International’s mission. It delivers powerful influencing strategies through policy and campaigning, in partnership with young people in the UK and globally. It creates engaging and impactful communications, a cohesive brand presence, and builds relationships with stakeholders in support of our objectives.

The Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Directorate is responsible for driving engagement and income from members of the public, high net-worth individuals, corporate partners, and trusts and foundations. It uses data and supporter insight to develop compelling products and propositions that engage and inspire, and it ensures supporters have a smooth and rewarding experience when interacting with us.

The two Directorates work closely to drive awareness, engagement, action and income that all contribute to Plan International’s mission to deliver for children’s rights and equality for girls.

In this busy and varied role, you will provide administrative support, manage the directors’ diaries and support with the preparation and minuting of meetings. You will use your excellent coordination skills to support and organise project groups and events, as well as dealing with invoices and expenses.

We are looking for someone who is well organised and proactive, has great communication skills, and is interested in getting involved in everything that’s going on in the teams and the wider organisation. If you think this is you and you have an interest in the role that fundraising, communications and advocacy teams play in the charity sector, we look forward to receiving your application.

For further detail of this role, please see the job profile.

The deadline for applications is 23:59 on 16 January 2025
Interviews will take place on 30 January 2025

We are committed to the safeguarding and protection of children, young people and adults in our work. We, therefore, apply rigorous recruitment and selection processes to ensure that only those who are suitable are recruited to work for us.
