About Morley College London

Morley College London was founded in 1889 by Emma Cons, an artist, social reformer and suffragette, to provide lifelong educational opportunities for diverse communities in London. We are one of the UK’s oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education.

In 2020, the College grew through a merger with Kensington and Chelsea College, serving the communities of North Kensington and Chelsea (including young people aged 16-18).

We aim to meet the learning needs of a growing number of students and to be a force for public good within our communities.

With centres in North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo, and a shared community and adult education space in Stockwell, the College offers a wide range of short courses, adult and higher education qualifications, and qualifications for 16-to-18-year-olds.

The College was inspected by Ofsted in February 2023 and achieved a judgement of ‘Good’ overall, with ‘Outstanding’ for Behaviours and Attitudes – a testament to the hard work and commitment of students, staff, Governors and stakeholders.

Also in 2023, Morley was awarded the prestigious Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), signifying outstanding student experiences and outcomes.

About the roles
