We are looking for a Chief Executive who can provide visionary leadership, strong management and governance skills, a collaborative style, excellent communication skills, and an ability to model our values.

The Union of Students exists to positively impact every student at the University of Derby. We achieve this through five key strands of activity:

We are looking for a Chief Executive who can provide visionary leadership, strong management and governance skills, a collaborative style, excellent communication skills, and an ability to model our values.

We are open to leaders seeking their first Chief Executive role. As a Union with sizeable operations in both membership and commercial areas, we require experience in at least one of these areas, with the ability to lead across both as student engagement and financial sustainability are critical to our success.
