Hybrid (minimum of 2 days per week in-person working)

About the role

We’re looking for a Medical Content Editor who is confident in writing, editing and producing medical content and who’ll ensure accuracy of our medical content to meet the needs of our health and care professional audience. 

You’ll work with multiple teams as well as health and care professional experts to develop and update digital and print resources, including our virtual learning hub course content.

What you’ll do:

  • Edit new and existing resources and courses for professional audiences to high standards of accuracy.

  • Work across 3 different teams to edit and coordinate our medical content for digital and print media and channels.

  • Develop content production systems and review and improve processes. 

  • Make sure medical content effectively meets the target audience’s needs by involving subject matter experts in development and evaluation

  • Advise and support colleagues on effective methods to get the right message to the right audience in an impactful manner

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience as an editor with excellent writing and editing skills, good attention to detail, and extensive experience of writing accessible and usable digital content 

  • Experience of delivering complex written information to a range of audiences, ideally including health and care professionals 

  • Experience of managing and coordinating multiple projects 

  • Ability to acquire, absorb and communicate complex information on Parkinson’s and related subjects 

  • Ability to work with flexibility with changing demands, with strong project management and prioritisation skills
