About the role 

You’ll make a valuable contribution to the Parkinson’s community through the support you provide volunteers and colleagues to ensure our digital tools meet their needs. You’ll be focusing on providing a high quality service, including making sure that information on our website is up to date, that volunteers can access their digital tools and  ensuring our records about activities and members are accurate. You’ll be the central signposting point for enquiries and provide business support. 

What you’ll do:  

  • Focus on providing business support for the Insight and Digital Delivery Manager; 

  • Provide support for community members, including colleagues and volunteers in accessing and using Parkinson’s UK digital tools, including training;

  • Support the operational and business processes of the team, including preparation of monthly reporting; 

  • Ensure that the information that is provided to the community, in particular to volunteers and colleagues, is accurate and high quality;  

  • Update information/content on the website and intranet to support the team’s business processes as and when required; 

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace, including using digital tools to work collaboratively and productively 

  • Proven experience of managing administrative tasks, including collating and maintaining information, as well as coordinating and arranging meetings 

  • Experience of introducing administrative processes to enhance team systems 

  • Experience of developing and implementing resources and materials for a wide range of audiences 

  • Organisational skills including time and process management, with an attention to detail
