This role will work in the Fundraising and Communications Directorate to drive improvement in fundraising. As part of the role, you will manage the current fundraising and engagement CRM system, such as ALMs.net & Engaging Networks, developing processes, maintaining data quality, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulation, GDPR, and best practice. You will lead in developing systems to optimise fundraising and communications performance, providing expert guidance and strategic input, guided by market trends that will maximise engagement. This role will also provide management support to the Data and Payments Officer.   
To be successful in the role of Senior Data and Insights Manager, you will need: 

• Solid experience with data-handling tools, including client databases and analytics, such as Power BI, SQL and statistical tools like R or SPSS.
• Ability to manage complex data management systems, incorporating multiple platforms.
• Experience in providing accurate KPIs reporting.
• Proven experience of use of CRM and SRM systems in a charity environment generating £5 million per annum plus.
• Ability to advise on potential improvements to segmentation, selections and testing opportunities. Experience in implementing real-world data testing strategies across multiple channels.

The Senior Volunteering Officer will help us to explore and develop new approaches to volunteering within the NHS. This role is focused on supporting our volunteers that are based within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust services across the North West London Community and to develop new volunteering roles that focus on health challenges within the community.

About this job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual with experience in project management who also loves working directly with the people we support. The ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences and deliver the project objectives will be essential for this role.

This is a ‘time-limited’ ‘test and learn’ externally funded project. The ‘Community Connections project’ – will help people living with and affected by MS to navigate support services ensuring that they have access to the support they require, at the time of their choice, and is delivered in a way that best suits their individual needs.

This is a fixed-term project until March 2026.This is a full time role comprising of 35 hours per week.

The main duties of the role

• To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
• To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
• To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals
• To play a key role in the formal data and impact reporting for the charity including the production of Impact Reports and annual university reports, and ensuring the impact microsite is kept up to date.

• Work collaboratively with our Finance team and Pension administrator to effectively manage the FNF salary exchange pension

Health and Safety

• Ensure that health and safety standards are met across FNF, this includes the communication of health and safety policies to ensure they are understood and adhered to
• Conduct regular risk assessments across all areas of FNF including office spaces, remote working environments and any other areas where the charity operates
• Establish and maintain an effective system for reporting, managing and investigating accidents, incidents and near misses
• Work with external partners to keep up to date with changes in legislation and to conduct the annual health and safety audit and ensure that any recommendations are implemented promptly

IT

• Act as the primary point of contact between FNF and the IT provider, ensuring clear and effective communication to ensure they deliver high quality services that meet our needs
• Review and manage the IT service contract ensuring that all terms and SLAs are monitored as well as considering value for money and service experience
• Manage the budget for the IT function at FNF
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets (hardware, software licenses etc) and ensure they are properly managed and documented. This includes the procurement and disposal of IT equipment as needed.

Office Management / Administration

• Partner with managed office provider to ensure that all services are delivered as per the contract, building a strong working relationship with the building and facilities team
• Ensure that the office environment is well maintained, welcoming and conducive to productive work
• Oversee the management of office supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and ordered are placed
• Implement best practices in office management, including document management, filing systems and communication protocol
• To identify areas across the charity where processes, systems and collaborative working can be made more efficient, and support the team in implementing improvements

Person Specification

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

• Relevant professional qualifications in business administration or a related field would be desirable
• Previous experience working in a similar varied role ideally within the non-profit sector
• Demonstrable experience in reviewing and improving processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Previously managed HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management and engagement
• Experience in development and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practice
• Knowledge of managing relationships with vendors, including SLA’s and contract terms
• Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities, juggling different pieces of work and meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, interacting with people internally and externally
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distil and communicate information in a way that is easy to understand

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it. 

It is an exciting and important time to be joining us at Crisis. We work with thousands of people across England, Scotland, and Wales so they can leave homelessness behind for good. We have recently adapted the way our services work to maximise our impact in ending homelessness. You will be able to work from home one day per week in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy. You will be expected to travel around Birmingham and wider West Midlands on a regular basis to meet with partners and stakeholders. National travel i.e., to London Head Office or other Skylights will take place on average once every six weeks.

The Director of Crisis Skylight Birmingham will be responsible for leading and developing strategic partnerships across Birmingham and the West Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and lead the service into our new 10-year strategy, influencing key local and national political, community and business leaders, partners, and providers to drive forward our strategic priorities all with the aim of ending homelessness. You will play a key role as a decision marker on the Client Services Senior Leadership Team, along with your counterparts from across the different regions of the UK.

About you 

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, compassionate, bold, collaborative senior leader from the homelessness, health, safeguarding or associated sectors. You will have experience of building relationships with senior leaders to develop strategic partnerships with the aim of achieving strategic objectives including but not exclusively, in areas of change management, strategic development of services,.& leading collaborative partnerships that directly contribute to achieving performance targets  You will have the motivation, commitment, and vision, able to influence a range of audiences and able to articulate a compelling case for change to key decision makers across the West Midlands .  You will be a leader in your field, with experience of operational delivery, ensuring high quality and safe services to vulnerable adults, with the ability to provide clear leadership to your team.
