- Provide Clinical advice and support to the veterans, their families/support network and Help for Heroes staff.

- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the Global Communications department, freelancers and clients, ensuring smooth collaboration and addressing any issues that arise.
- Current Events: Stay informed about current events and ensure that content is relevant and timely, particularly for reactive content related to emergencies and humanitarian crises.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing, PR, and Programme Leads teams to align content and ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality of content produced by freelancers, providing feedback and requesting revisions as necessary

- Ideally Degree-educated in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in Administration / Communications

The Role
Core responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and implementing content plan for social media channels (primarily Instagram, X, Tiktok and Facebook) including drafting copy, creating content and ensure consistent posting for all channels with the guidance of Digital campaigner/Digital Campaign Lead and campaign team
- Producing a range of daily digital content for Uplift’s social media channels - from simple social-first graphic design, to lo-fi effective social video content

- Creating reactive content and messaging to respond to current events, helping Uplift maximise opportunities for engagement and growth using the news cycle

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations initially, the role holder will have technical leadership and overall responsibility for managing the Data and Innovation team. This team helps Breaking Barriers maximise the value of its data, by conducting analysis and managing the CRM (Salesforce) and related software.
The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.

We are looking for 3 HR Advisors to join our HR team and have an impact in a mission led company. The successful post holders will support the HR Business Partners in the delivery of a professional, high quality HR service to the Caring Services directorate within their designated regions. They will provide professional advice to managers and employees on the full range of HR matters including relevant employment legislation and support the HR Business Partners and Senior Human Resources Advisor within a defined Employee Relations remit.
You will be responsible for:
- Working with HR colleagues and the wider HR team to ensure that the services provided meet both the needs of region(s) supported and the wider charity objectives.
- Preparing and distributing management reports and information to senior managers which will inform and assist managers to develop appropriate action plans.
- Working in partnership with the HR team & Payroll Office in resolving customer queries within agreed timescales, proactively meeting their requirements and supporting colleagues in meeting the overall objectives of the HR Department.
- Providing professional advice and assistance to managers on misconduct and performance issues and act as the HR representative at designated disciplinary/performance meetings.
Key Criteria:
- Solid experience in a generalist HR role advising managers on best practice HR approaches particularly involving change management.
- Recent experience of working in a similar sized, fast paced organisation with multi-site responsibilities.

It will focus on developing Trussell policy positions in either employment support (especially for people with barriers to work) or disability and sickness benefits. The role will also lead the development and implementation of influencing plans in that policy area.
Role responsibilities
·Lead the development of policy solutions and positions
Leading the development of credible policy positions and implementable recommendations in the specified policy area - either in relation to employment support and conditionality, particularly for groups facing significant barriers to work including disabled people and single parents; or in relation to the disability benefit system, particularly Personal Independence Payments and the Work Capability Assessment.
Working with the Policy and Public Affairs, Network Operations and Participation teams to ensure our policy influencing has a robust evidence base.
Where appropriate, developing policy in collaboration with food banks in Trussell’s network and lived experience partners. Building on success of existing participatory work to ensure it is rooted in the lived experience of individuals affected by poverty. This includes ensuring an ethical approach to policy development in line with our values.
Working effectively with other expert partners to strengthen policy development and build alliances to support influencing, including project management and oversight of joint policy development and positions.
·Planning and delivering impactful policy activity
Leading the development of an influencing strategy for the policy area aligned to a theory of change. Ensuring policy outputs are timely, high-quality and support engagement with key audiences, including national and local governments across the UK. Co-ordinating responses to reactive work in areas, including policy consultations, activity in Parliament, in the media or in response to network requests.
·Developing policy narratives and key messages
Co-ordinating the development of the narrative and key messaging in the areas, maintaining a key message bank, with tailored lines for target audiences as needed.
·Representing Trussell and promoting the organisation’s policy positions to external stakeholders
Working proactively with Research, Public Engagement and Network Operations teams to identify opportunities to promote the organisation’s policy positions and recommendations to key audiences. This could include presenting at policy and campaign events, workshops with food banks and media interviews.
·Building and managing strong relationships with key external stakeholders
Developing relationships, partnerships and networks to help raise the profile, credibility and influence of the Trussell Trust and our policy positions in the specified policy area, including with relevant policy makers, politicians, civil servants, sector partners and church-related organisations working in key policy areas.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
· Track record of successfully developing policy solutions, including credible and implementable proposals in either the area of either employment support or disability and sickness benefits.

Willow House - Central Lancashire Crisis Service is a mental health recovery house in Coppull. We are working to a recovery model, and are accessed by referral as either hospital preventions, step down, respite and crisis point support. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a 24hour staffed service to our residents aged 16 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of domestic abuse. Our Specialist Advocates support families impacted by fatal domestic abuse through provision of lay advocacy for and on behalf of families with a range of statutory service providers (e.g. those conducting reviews and inquiries, social services, police, housing) and work to build good relations between all parties. To ensure that families get the support they need, you will use AAFDA’s Home Office endorsed seven-step approach to working with individuals and families, to ensure that they receive the best possible support and advocacy to restore dignity and relief for families and to help them cope and recover. Through trauma-informed approaches, you will:
- listen to families and advocate for them in a complex system that too often treats them as passive participants and overlooks the value of their insight;
- provide information, support, guidance, advice and advocacy on Domestic Homicide Reviews, Mental Health Reviews, Inquests, Independent Office of Police Conduct inquiries and other types of Inquiries;
- manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities;
- give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf;
- Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.
