Data Services is part of the Central Services of the Church of England, providing statistical information, analysis, research and consultancy. The team works collaboratively with the National Church Institutions (NCIs), dioceses and parishes collecting and assembling data to support the Church's missional, pastoral and operational activities through high-quality information and analysis.
This functional area will drive some of the biggest changes across Data Services supporting the team with technical solutions to meet the vision. Key to this will be the automation of standard reporting packs providing data quickly in consistent, high-quality, informed analysis formats to those who need it. This will involve the development of tools to automate manual processes around research; and develop and produce quality outputs from People Systems data.
Core Responsibilities
- To lead a communication and influence project to maximise engagement throughout the church.
- To drive participation in multiple surveys and ensure the accurate input of diversity data into specified church systems (CDT, People System, Pathways, Ministry Development System).
- To develop a data collection strategy that ensures accurate and reliable data through data analysis, reporting and management.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including goals, timelines, and resource allocation, whilst managing budget and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Other Key Requirements
- This is a one-year fixed-term contract.
- This is a hybrid role but also suitable for homeworking.
- Occasional visits to Church House - 2 days a month for face-to-face meetings.
Please note: The role is also suitable for applicants who choose homeworking as an option, however, homeworking is not a requirement for the role. As occasional visits to Church House for face-to-face meetings are a requirement of your role, this will be expensed, but travel to the office location will not be expensed if you choose to come to the office.

- A salary of £46,577, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs and working closely with colleagues across EngineeringUK and with our partners, you will be instrumental the delivery of our policy and public affairs programme and lead on key elements.
You will lead on policy projects and on developing organisational policy positions, producing reports and responses to government consultations (with a focus on education and skills) as well as our engagement with stakeholders, internally and externally, to achieve this. You will also work closely with the Public Affairs Advisor and other colleagues to communicate these messages to government and government departments. You will therefore need to be an excellent team player and collaborator and a confident and persuasive communicator, able to work independently and adept at managing multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and may involve some travel in the UK. We believe that hybrid working has many benefits and are pleased to offer flexible working with a minimum of 2 days (or 40%) a week in the office and the option for a flexible start and end to the working day in our vibrant central London office overlooking the Thames. Remote based, part-time role - an exciting opportunity - at a busy, dynamic and growing cancer charity – as part of ABC UK's Patient Support Programme.
Part-time flexible (likely minimum 18.5 Hrs p/w), salary £27,000 pro-rata, 20 days annual leave pro-rata, 3-month probationary period.
Bladder cancer is not a rare cancer – but it does have a low profile, lack of awareness, low research investment and desperately needs new treatments. Over 22,000 people are diagnosed each year in the UK – there is a high level of recurrence. There is a lack of information and support for patients. With your help, Action Bladder Cancer UK can radically improve this.
The role
ABC UK is an established charity, with exciting new projects. We have an active network of volunteers, a full time Chief Executive and core staff and a range of project staff. You will report to Chief Executive ABC UK and will work closely with our ABC UK Patient Support team, ABC UK trustees and patient volunteers.
The role supports ABC UK’s core Patient Support Programme. We provide information and support for those with bladder cancer, a direct patient support service, help establish and sustain support groups for bladder cancer patients, provide patient information about bladder cancer to patients and major centres of bladder cancer treatment, and run bladder cancer information events (both online and face to face). We also work to increase our networks with health professionals, to help them support their patients. We run the ABC UK Education Programme for health professionals and you will be involved in planning and delivering nurse education events. We want to build our networks both regionally and nationally and to be responsive to the need for information, awareness and support for those with bladder cancer, and the health professionals treating them. We now want to add to the team to increase our impact even further.
You will work remotely, however very much working as part of the Patient Support team, and working closely with other colleagues and volunteers, with regular catch-up meetings (online) and occasional face to face team meetings. You will also be required to travel as necessary for meetings and patient or health professional events and to help create and sustain our networks with health professionals and cancer support services. You will be based in the North of England and within easy travelling distance of centres such as Sheffield, Leeds, Hull and further North and adjacent counties. We may consider candidates outside of these regions, if they have directly appropriate experience and skills.
Who we are looking for…
You will be in contact with a range of different people including volunteers, patients, health professionals and other organisations. The successful candidate will:
- be friendly and approachable, able to work flexibly, with resilience and efficiency and to be professional at all times and be able to work to our very high standards;
- be empathetic and understanding of the needs of cancer patients and how best to deliver this in practical terms;
- ideally have some health service or charity experience - not essential but preferable;

Skills
You will need to:
- be able to communicate effectively with health professionals, other charity professionals and bladder cancer patients both face to face and via phone or email;

Key Responsibilities
Networking
- Contact point for Hospitals/Urology Depts/Cancer Centres. Making pro-active contact and arranging supply of bladder cancer patient information and building relationships on a regional basis;
- Building contacts with specialist urology/cancer nurses, making them aware of ABC UK and our resources;
- Maintaining up-to-date contact database: including major urology departments, cancer centres, regional cancer networks etc;
- Regional contacts (working with volunteer patient advisors) – including regional cancer networks/charities etc – to build local networks;
- Co-ordinating periodic mailings of ABC UK patient information materials to hospitals/urology services (mailing handled by central admin).
Events
- ABC UK runs both face to face and online events. Organising and attending ABC UK patient and health professional events, working as part of a team with other ABC UK Patient Support Officers and volunteers;
- Occasional attendance at/involvement with regional cancer events, health professional and/or patient or well-being events (including taking the ABC UK stand to such events);
- You will also be required to present at events on occasion – both online and face to face;
- Organising, development of (with colleagues) and participation in ABC UK online patient events and face to face events, and ABC UK health professional events both online and face to face.
Patient Support Groups
ABC UK works to help set up and maintain support groups for bladder cancer patients – these groups are self-running, often linked to a major hospital.
- Help maintain database of Groups: contact details, details of meeting etc – including information for updating ABC UK website and ABC UK social media;
- Acting as ABC UK contact point for bladder cancer patient support groups, including making presentations;
- Pro-actively maintaining regular contact with PSG’s – re supply of ABC UK materials, updating info, ascertaining needs re other materials or support required and developing best practice case studies;
- Working with health professionals wanting to set up new groups, periodically attending group meetings and meeting volunteers.
Patient Materials
Working with ABC UK Executive, ABC UK Patient Support team and patient volunteers on the development of patient information materials both on-line and in print.
Communications
- News Updates: contributing as part of a team on regular news updates for health professionals, support groups and patients;
- Social media: working as part of a team on increasing ABC UK social media presence.

Street Paws is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 2016 with the aim of providing free and accessible veterinary care and support services to pets of homeless people in the UK. We strive to bridge the gap between animal and human welfare services. Ensuring that pets are not left behind in the fight against homelessness.
Demand for our services is ever growing due to the impacts of cuts to public funding, rising private rents, limited social housing and cuts to housing benefit. Research has shown that many owners have been asked to give up their pet in order to get accommodation. Homeless people will rarely agree to go into a hostel without their pet choosing instead to remain in extreme vulnerability and depravation on the streets.
Role Summary
This is a new position at Street Paws which has been created to support ongoing projects in the Greater Manchester region. The role involves assisting the Operations Manager in expanding current projects, such as incorporating hostels into our Dog Champion Scheme and developing the new volunteering scheme nationally. Responsibilities include recruiting volunteers and fostering positive relationships to enhance the volunteer experience, providing support and guidance, networking and developing relationshipes with current and new stakeholders and attendance at regular meetings across the Greater Manchester area.
Role Description
Based in the Greater Manchester area, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager with the delivery, administration, and support of Street Paws’ work nationally. The role will support the onboarding of new partners and the management of existing partners, including suppliers and contacts. They will be a point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
The Project Coordinator will support and develop our new volunteer programme, including recruitment and retention of volunteers, volunteer inductions, and training. Street Paws is a small team, and as such, we expect people to be highly flexible in their roles and willing to turn their hand to anything that needs to be done.
Responsibilities
- Promote the charity’s work nationally.
- Respond to internal and external enquiries regarding the charity’s projects and services.
- Actively seek out, develop, and maintain partnerships to strengthen the charity’s projects.
- Ensure each onboarded partner is aware of our services.
- Support the Operations Manager in the expansion of the charity’s projects to new partners and areas.
- Support the Operations Manager with the onboarding of hostels.

The RIBA Corporate Partnerships team is a new team that has been specifically created to innovate, attract, grow and deliver long-term, sustainable sponsorship revenue streams for RIBA, across a range of events, such as awards, conferences, talks, exhibitions and bespoke projects.

About the Role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of all corporate partnership contracts and activities, effectively and efficiently, to maximise the benefit of both the corporate partner and the RIBA.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role focuses on the management of corporate partner relationships, working innovatively with colleagues across the RIBA, to ensure a high level of income retention, growth and sales with existing partners.
This role includes key involvement in significant RIBA projects and events, such as the RIBA Stirling Prize; the RIBA Royal Gold Medal; RIBA Regional and National Awards; professional business and CPD events, seminars and roundtables; and a number of public talks and exhibitions at RIBA’s London headquarters and RIBA North in Liverpool’s Waterfront.
You will be required to
- Provide support to a varied portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring that they are stewarded effectively to strengthen their relationship with the RIBA, and so support long-term income growth for the RIBA
- Play a role in the renewals sales process including collaborating with the Head of Corporate Partnerships on new ideas and proposals
- Provide first point of contact and dedicated account management for corporate partners dealing with any queries or new requirements that may arise
- Work with RIBA member-facing teams to ensure corporate partners’ requirements are successfully delivered, in line with contracted objectives and goals
- Attend client meetings and internal stakeholder and management meetings as the representative of the Corporate Partnerships team
- Responsible for the administration of all corporate partner income and ensure that all payments are recorded and accounted correctly and as per the contracted terms
- Maintain appropriate systems for the management and reconciliation of the Corporate Partnerships budget
- Provide comprehensive and timely reports summarising corporate partnership activities against set objectives and goals
- Develop a close working relationship with colleagues across the RIBA, with the focus on raising the profile of our corporate partners and the value they bring to the RIBA
- Manage, motivate and lead staff, nurturing learning and development, to ensure that they continue to advance their skills and knowledge
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a membership, media or an events organisation or charity. We are looking for an innovative individual with:
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and written and verbal communication.
- A strong work ethic
- An ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- A knowledge of the architecture and construction industry would be an asset, though not essential.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications

Job Summary
The role will involve the provision of youth engagement activities to a diverse range of LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in a hostile environment. Our focus is in maintaining our ability to provide the highest service possible, giving our young people the opportunities to access peer support, community engagement and life skills. Overall, we aim to support LGBTQ+ young people into safe accommodation and work or education and prevent them from becoming homeless again in the future.
Key Tasks:
- Work as part of the Youth Engagement team to engage LGBTQ+ youth in a programme of meaningful activities designed to promote wellbeing and support young people to meet their personal goals.
- Make sure young people are meaningfully engaged in the co-creation of akt’s services and projects.
- With the support of the Youth Engagement Manager develop, manage, and grow akt’s LGBTQ+ youth work programme in London.
- Facilitate group work and peer support sessions and complete risk assessments.
- Support the London Services drop-in session.
- Develop and grow our programme of LGBTQ+ national and regional youth events.
- Work with young people and colleagues to explore the potential for national/regional trans youth events and activities.
- Support young people to be involved with the development and creation of an ever-growing collection of online/practical resources and videos to provide advice, support and reassurance to LGBTQ+ young people, on issues and topics that matter to them most, in conjunction with Digital Services and Marcomms Teams.

It's an exciting time to join Mind's Physical Activity team as Physical Activity Lead. We believe sport and physical activity can build resilience, support and enable mental health recovery, and tackle mental health stigma. We have a track record of delivering impactful programmes with Sport England, the English Football League (EFL), ASICS and many other partners.
As Physical Activity Lead, you will lead on the implementation of our physical activity programmes focusing on marginalised communities. This work explores how physical activity can support the mental health of people from racialised communities and people facing poverty.
You will manage our existing partnerships with Sporting Equals, Muslim Sports Foundation and England Boxing. Your will also identify and build new partnerships, particularly with organisations who support people from the African and Caribbean Community.
Throughout the role, you will engage people from marginalised communities to inform and influence our work. This will include working with our Lived Experience Advisors who shape our marginalised communities' work.
This post is funded by Sport England and the National Lottery as part of our system partnership.

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Lead the implementation of our physical activity programmes focusing on marginalised communities. This includes reviewing and activating the recommendations from our Audience scoping work around people from racialised communities and people facing poverty.

Ensuring a positive working relationship is developed across both organisations, brokering wider relationships with colleagues in Mind and through our networks, and ensuring partners become sector leaders.
-Identify opportunities and partnerships to support the mental health of marginalised communities, particularly from African and Caribbean communities, through physical activity.
-Provide consultancy support to organisations working with marginalised communities through our Embedding mental health in sport and physical activity: our jigsaw approach subject to capacity and strategic fit. The scope may include, but is not limited to auditing mental health provision, supporting strategy or policy development, providing content for resources or delivering workshops.
-Engage with people from marginalised communities including people from racialised communities and people fighting poverty, to ensure lived experience engagement within our physical activity programme delivery and wider policy work. This includes working with our Lived Experience Advisors to shape our work.
-Lead on the promotion of Mind's Sector Support Universal Offer through developing a promotional plan and coordinating the team's attendance at events and communications to promote resources, working closely with the Physical Activity Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy, Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, cash flow and forecasts to support strategic business planning and decision-making.
- Budget Management: Oversee and lead on the annual international budgeting and planning process (involving all ProVeg entities and departments). Administer and review all international financial plans and budgets; maintain all program budgets.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly (P&L and balance sheets) management reports, quarterly variance reports, annual financial reports, donor-specific or grant reports, and other income generation reports to the Global CEO, and Senior Leadership Team.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Risk & Compliance Management: Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk, leverage financial opportunities, and ensure financial compliance with charity laws and other guidelines. Remain up-to-date on best practices in non-profit finance, and relevant laws regarding non-profit operation.
- Finance Operations and governance: Oversee and improve internal financial policies and procedures such as implementation of central finance software, donations and grants tracking, ensuring value for money by applying internal auditing principles, and advising/supporting country directors and finance managers as well as organisations joining the ProVeg global network.
Qualifications

Relevant accounting qualification preferred, though candidates qualified by experience will be considered. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field desirable; graduate degree or CPA preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the non-profit sector. Experience of implementing and maintaining strong financial controls.
