We are delighted to have secured funding to set up and establish a robust impact and data collection process and database so that clear outcomes can be measured and collected for the different areas within our adoption support services. This is a new role and the postholder will play a key part in delivering on this work.

Working alongside Adoption Support colleagues, the Database Officer will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the database, ensuring data is kept up to date as well as inputting, monitoring and evaluating data and service user details.  They will also contribute to the collection of feedback and case studies from service users.

The Database Officer will produce comprehensive and tailored reports using both qualitative and quantitative data, derived from the new monitoring and evaluation system.  These evidence-based reports are produced for a variety of audiences and will contribute to evidencing the effectiveness of PACT’s adoption support services.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an administrative support role, with database and/or data capture administration experience.  To succeed in this role, you will be proficient in producing reports from a database with a keen eye for accuracy and detail and have strong data analysis skills with an ability to derive meaningful insights.

• Support the Head of Governance and HR in delivering the actions that support preparations for the next Investors in People (IiP) external assessment in late 2024. Ensure the Trust’s HR policies and practices remain consistent with the IiP standard.
• Work proactively with the HR Business Partner on the running of staff recruitment and selection processes, including sitting as the HR representative on the interview panel for more senior roles.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Substantial experience of working in HR operations and of developing and reviewing appropriate HR policies and procedures in a charity or similar setting.
• Sound understanding of employment law and a willingness to keep up-to-date with relevant legislative changes.

The Fundraiser will play a key role in raising funds and awareness for the Friends of Bereaved Families Forum, a UK charity established to support the work of the Parents' Circle in Israel and Palestine. 

This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and ensuring the sustainability and growth of our programs. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Fundraiaser will work in close consultation with the Chair, Trustees and with members of the Steering Committee in carrying out the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Develop strategies to expand, enhance and cultivate the current donor base. Set targets for fundraising and report against targets.
• Identify new donors and cultivate existing donors. seek new sources of funding such as charitable foundations and trusts. Submit grant applications and reports, as needed.

Fundraising Coordinator

Our fundraising team raises vital income to enable us to care for people with life limiting illnesses in our community. Hours:  28 to 37.5 hours per week  (with flexibility required on occasion to support events and activities outside regular working hours)

What is the role?

The Fundraising Coordinator will be part of the events and community team providing support for fundraising campaigns, events and in aid of fundraising. You will also be responsible for the administration of accurate supporter records and bookings, responding to enquiries and cultivating relationships, and ongoing stewardship with our supporters and volunteers.

A people person will excellent communication skills, highly organised and methodical, you will have excellent attention to detail, be flexible and able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks. Good digital skills including MSOffice (Excel and Word) are essential and the ability to understand information presented in databases/donor software systems would be a bonus.
