Interim Head of People

We are urgently recruiting for an interim Head of People for this unique, cultural institution - the Royal Academy of Dance, based in Battersea, London. This is the senior HR role for the organisation, reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, tasked with leading and inspiring the People team to ensure the effective delivery of a best practice People service, ensuring a high degree of consistency, efficient and effectiveness. As our HR lead you will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders ensuring the development of positive, constructive relations with managers and employees across the organisation. Bringing your extensive professional experience you will have a strong understanding of legislation and best practice, as well as sound analytical skills and the proven ability to be adaptable and pragmatic in finding solutions to challenges whilst developing and delivering new initiatives. This is broad reaching role for an HR generalist, however experience in the areas of culture change, Learning & Development and recruitment - particularly safeguarding and Safer Recruitment, would be an advantage.
