Job Title: Lived Experience Link Worker
Hours: 15 hours per week
Salary: £24,960 per annum, with progression to £27,560 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Exeter Mooring, Wonford House, Dryden Lane, EX2 5AF
Fixed term contract to 31st March 2025
We are looking for motivated, self-starter who is able to use their lived experience as the foundation for this exciting new role. The Lived Experience Link Worker will work alongside other MHM frontline staff, Devon Partnership Trust staff across Wonford House, as well as other professionals within statutory services and other VCSE organisations, to support and encourage patients and services users to access community based support. A particular focus will be on building links with mental health inpatient wards and other statutory mental health teams, creating a bridge to enable closer working with the The Mooring Hub in Exeter and their support offer.
You will be closely integrated with the Exeter Mooring staff team. The Mooring is an open access service offering emotional and mental health support to anyone 18+ and offers a service across day and evening/weekend hours (Mon-Fri 10am-10.30pm; Sat & Sun 1.30-10.30pm).
There is a requirement for some flexibility in working hours within this post as some evening/weekend work may be required.
