Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £36,920 rising to £41,080 upon successful completion of probation
Location: Home based - contractual location will be set in line with successful candidates location

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid and Tender Writer to join our amazing business development team and support with securing new business in communities where we know our expertise will have a positive impact for people who need to access our services.
You will be working with MHM subject matter experts to obtain information and best practice and turn this into clear and persuasive content. You will be be responsible for writing and formatting bids, ensuring content and look are in line with the MHM approach. You will also support to produce presentations related to bids, as well as collating content, editing and proof-reading bids and ensuring all deadlines for draft responses and final submissions are met.
What we need
To be successful, you will be able to produce high quality, customer focused bids from start to finish. You will have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be able to understand the needs of the customer and effectively carry out research and look at best practice to produce winning bids. Understanding and interpreting customer needs from meetings, wider research, ITT content and interpreting this into an effective, winning bid. You need to be proactive in participating in key meetings to ensure bid solutions and content exceed customer needs, show innovation, and best practice. Take Ownership of lessons learned and development of best practice content for bid library and development.
