The service, Edward Alsop Court, offers specialist support to homeless men across a range of areas including re-offending behaviour, mental health issues, physical health needs and substance misuse. Edward Alsop Court implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience. Staff receive monthly reflective practice and debriefs after any serious incidents. We have an on-site Psychologist 2 days per week, An on-site Social Worker 1.5 days per week and a Nurses Clinic on-site 4 days per week. With a GP clinic once a week in the service.
